Schwartz is highly rated but may retire due to injury.
Okung, another guy who 5 years ago was awesome, now he is an injury concern.
At Guard you have...
Gabe Jackson who was cut by the Raiders and had a horrible season last year.
Kyle Long coming out of retirement (That is a Bengal like signing)
Trai Turner dealing with injuries...
Do you see the trend? These are the scraps that other teams are passing over but good enough for Mikey.
Adding Hendrickson is not a big deal when you let Lawson walk, it literally is a lateral move. Laterally moves do NOT improve the roster.
Adding Hendrickson and re-signing Lawson would have been exciting.
Giving out a massive contract and a massive pay raise to keep the best pass rusher on our team which finished last in sacks makes sense to some. For some reason I'm ok with avoiding that experiment.

I think I'd probably LOL and give old Joey B a tip of the hat and proceed to tell direct tv what to do with my sunday ticket subscription for 2021.

We just have Hendrickson a massive deal and I am baffled. 4 year 60 million and 32 guaranteed...I’d rather have had Lawson.

Yea I'm not sure how this happened.
I'm glad we aren't dormant. I'm just confused is all.

He’s a solid player, I just don’t think it makes us better. The people who likes sacks over pressures will be happy atleast.

The Lawson move aside...
We literally sat out and watched other teams gobble up offensive line upgrade after offensive line upgrade.
Guarantee the money, over pay, do whatever the hell it takes to protect Burrow.
Instead, we will have a line of cast offs and injury concerns and guys trying to resurrect their careers. That is not the line you put out there if you really want to win. FA is over for the most important area of need.

I heard a fair number of his sacks were coverage sacks. So that's not happening here haha.
But it's better than nothing, I guess?

Maybe pairing him with Ingram improves the rush and they can add a corner and hope the defense can see improvement.

I like him, but not over Lawson and not for that price.

This just smells of the family keeping Geno, Hart, Gio and all the other over paid guys to get to the cap floor then once again roll over 20 mill even though the cap is lower this year. Then saying look we spent close to the cap but we need rookie and injury money. They may sign a few cast offs and over pay a few mill just to look like the give a crap and hit the cap floor.

They're currently in discussions with an edge rusher with the same number of sacks in 4 years as Lawson and doesn't have the injury concerns.
When all the good OL and edge rushers have been snapped up and we haven't signed any, then I'll get salty about it.
Austin Reiter. He's a C but the last 2 years he's been a full time starter and he's finished #1 and #2 in Pass Block Efficiency.
What OGs are still out there that are even remotely good?

Love this signing he doesn't look as good in shorts as Lawson but he is as productive if not more.

Glad they got involved, but it is essentially like re-signing Lawson at this point.

Larry Warford, Gabe Jackson, or Trai Turner
Rick Wagner
Josh Reynolds or Chris Conley
Solomon Thomas
Trey Hendrickson
AJ Bouye
But they probably can’t accomplish that without cuts.

If they sign Trai Turner or Bouye day 1 or 2...i think my head will snap in half. Well, not really but it will be pretty sad.
Austin Reiter
Kenny Golladay
Trey Hendrickson (one hit wonder scares me though)
Curtis Samuel
Hunter Henry
