Why is Chase expected to sit out after Year 3?  Its not the same.  Chase never once said he would miss games.  .  I know she's a fan but it is a stupid comment and many in the media and on social media said the same.  They are stupid as well.  IMHO

Again, you seem focused on Kay’s comments when it was Lamb’s that were the point. It doesn’t matter if a player did or didn’t threaten to sit out or not, it’s about how much this stuff weighs on the players. It would have been nice to just avoid having such a distraction to one of your 2 best players, your HC, and everyone else who’s been dealing with it all summer. Waiting “just because they can” is stupid. It’s not going to make coming up with the guaranteed money they need to get it done any easier next year.
