For every Chase Brown there seems to be a couple of failures to launch, like Myles Murphy and Dax Hill...
I understand, but if a 6th round hits, why wouldn't that negate a questionable 1st round pick. I think fans expect 1st round picks to start immediatley and be all pro by year 2 or 3. That is unrealistic, draft has too many variables.
I feel if we did a better job with FA cleaning up our draft misses, we would be a lot better. All teams miss in the draft, it is nature of the beast. Take 2025, it is widely beluevd there are as low as 5 and as high as 12 true first round picks. Years ago, I did some research. If my memory is correct, 1st round picks only average a little over 5 years playing in the NFL, less tan 15% are perennial all pro players. Each round, the numbers decline and by round 4 it becomes a crap shoot.
That was years ago, so not sure how that has aged the past 5 or 6 years. Maybe someone can do some research and let us know.

Please use 2025 free agency to fix the trenches, not the draft!!!!!!!!
