Tee Higgins price just went up too

  • Exclusive: The team has the sole right to negotiate with the player, and the salary is higher.
  • Non-Exclusive: The player can negotiate with other teams, but the original team has the right to match any offer or receive two first-round draft picks as compensation if the player signs with another team.

But it is a very steep price i doubt anyone would pay (or if they were worth it allow that player to hit the market to begin with)  as 2 1st are even more valuable now with the 5th year option.

They are easy to mix up but yes Higgins was given the non-exclusive tag.  It is actually rather rare for a team to use the exclusive tag.

Something interesting I ran across while looking stuff up.  It looks like this year was the first time since 2006 that two players or less were tagged:

Trey Smith with Chiefs and Higgins with Bengals.
