Preston Brown out for the season
#1
Looks like we will be seeing a lot more Hardy Nickerson! Preston couldn’t stay healthy all year. I’ll admit I liked the signing in the offseason and thought he would help our linebacking core. Even when he was healthy he seemed more like a slower thumper type then a playmaker. However I was a bit skeptical when the lead leading tackler only signed for a one year deal.

This team's collective stones must be up by its throat at this point.  The hits just keep on coming.

Hell I'm ready to bring back Maul. He's slow as hell, but he can tackle; just don't let him go to the club. Have him bring his old teammate (Cushing) with him

Was he ever really in for the season?

Hadn't missed a game since HS.  Comes here, goes out the first game.

Very unfortunate for both Preston Brown and the Bengals. I was rather excited when he was signed.

Hate it for him, and us. I can hear the injury excuses for Merv already.

He carries the list around in his pocket, ready for that end of the year meeting, just in case.

Hobs has it tattooed on his thigh, for his end of the year spin piece.

Yes, I'd say that the Bills got one over on us.  5M for a guy that led the league in tackles last year, and couldn't even put forth a solid showing this year.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

Boy, the team might want to play the young guys the rest of the way and see who really wants to win football games. Who knows, may be the young ones can pull of some victories.

Sucks. He wasn't an All-Pro or anything, but he was decent in the run and actually created turnovers.

Just wonder who our next 1 year LB wonder is gonna be.
So far we've done Preston Brown, Kevin Minter, Karlos Dansby, AJ Hawk, James Harrison.

Think there's a bit of a pattern there......

It just never stops with the injuries. I liked the signing but it never really jelled. Who’s up next?
