We don't know what happened with his at this point.

Considering what you wrote earlier, you aren't a doctor, so who knows if it was dislocated or not? 2. Whatever happened, the knee popped right back into place, on it's own 3. As mentioned by Breech, there may be a tear of the meniscus (which indeed is a bit more complicated), but that's it. I still don't see why everyone is freaking out so much; MCLs heal quicker than ACLs (MUCH quicker). Torn menusicus heals quicker than ACLs. PCLs and LCLs heal quicker than ACLs. As Breech said, barring no setbacks, this should be a 6-9 month recovery time; what makes additional stuff on top of the ACL, "so bad!"? Do you think your body only heals one thing at a time?

People have to take alternative opinions a little better than this. To act like any of us wanted to see this is lame, or be discussing this today is lame, insulting, and more reflective of your character the anyone elses. The structural damage is what I am most worried about. I hope he doesn't lose too much of his mobility due to this injury.

I wouldn’t expect that return but it’s not out of the question, again being the lead leg instead of drive leg is a big deal here. Didn't Deshaun Watson have similar/same?

You were talking alternative options like literally less than 2 hours after it happened. Before any diagnosis, any real news. Like many of us said, unless they say he can't play there is 0 chance this team takes another QB. It's not alternative opinions that people don't take well, its opinions that have 0 factual backing, and are quite frankly just in poor taste at this point. Until a professional says, he will never come back or be anything close to what he is, the QB argument is silly.

I have confidence his competitiveness will allow him to push through it like the champ he is and will be ready by camp. And the post you are referencing has to do with the media???? Heck my niece blew out both her ACL's and one MCL playing soccer and rehabbed both of them just fine. Medicine is better than it used to be. She saw the same specialists that take care of the Titans. All I'm saying is we don't know anything, the doctors are still looking into it, there are a lot of variables at play here and Burrow being tough doesn't make his body magically heal. I'm not going to say he's going to be 100% any more than I'm going to say he and ZT are going to RG3 him because they can't stand the idea of BUrrow missing time.

I just didn't say the same thing everyone else did. It's good to have other opinions on a message board. I didn't insult anyone, didn't personally attack anyone, didn't mock anyone.... I just said something different then the group think. Quote:"Success doesn’t mean every single move they make is good" ~ Anonymous

Thats fine thats your opinion, but don't be mad at people for thinking your opinion isn't a very good one.

He would have had surgery last night. When they are talking about structural damage they are far more likely referring to cartilage and/or meniscus damage Winning makes believers of us all They didn't win and we don't beleive

I don't get why your say this just to be argumentative. Everyone just heard the news that the MRI outcome was worse than hoping for a franchise QB. And I think you might not be putting too much emphasis on that "barring setback" statement. Regardless of current medical tech and the number of players you can point at that have went through this, the more damage there was the higher the risk that recovery time is extended or that he's never able to become the same player. You know exactly why people are concerned that this could be a serious impact on his future ability. If you want to live in the sunshine future that this is all trivial and he'll be back better than before that's wonderful for you.

As stated previously, the football world better give the Bengals an endless supply of shit about this and force them to make some changes. At this point I would feel relieved to hear that the Bengals are no longer a team so I wouldn’t have to watch this train wreck any more.
