2021 NFL Mock Draft Challenge: February
#21
I went to Pro Football Network.
This roster needs a infusion of speed all around and playmakers
It needs speed even from the lower depth chart.

I traded my 5th pick to the Eagles for the 6th and 70th picks
Of the draft.
6th Kyle Pitts TE ....Florida. The ultimate chess piece on offense

38th Jaylen Phillips DE....Miami. The defense has no pass rushers
Other than free agent Carl Lawson. Hes a game changer

69th Dillion Radunz..OT...North Dakota St. Anybody that can endure those winters has to be resilant and tough as iron

Then I traded picks 70 and 201 to the Cards and recieved
Picks 76 and 126

76th Tylan Wallace WR Oklahoma St. Superb route runner with enough jets to get YAC

105th Jaylen Twyman DT U of Pitt....disruptive DT who can create havoc in the pocket. 1st RD talent

126th Keith Taylor CB. Washington. Long CB at 6'2
You cant teach radius and length.faced some quality
WRs this past year.

Traded pick 136 and 2022 7th RD pick to Texans
For picks 167, 180, 190.....

167th Janarius Robinson DE Florida St. You can't have enough
Pass rushers in a pass dominated league. Maybe Duke Tobin
Will figure that out one day.

169th Jaelon Darden WR North Texas St....the perfect compliment
To the Bengals WR core. Ungodly fast and can make tacklers
Miss.this offense needs a WR that can make a defense pay
For missed tackles.

180th Cam Sample DT Tulane. Any DLineman Cam has to be good
Another depth piece with high upside. Non stop motor

190 Tariq Thompson S San Diego St......can watch and learn from
One of the most under rated tandems in the NFL.
Very sound tackler.

199th Greg Eiland OG Missisippi St......faced elite
DTs in the SEC. Can challenge for a depth spot and
Get proper coaching from Frank Pollack

TRADE 1: Sewell was taken as expected, so traded picks 5 and 69 to PHI for picks 6 and 37. Aimed to trade down to gather picks and still have a shot at the upper tier OTs.

TRADE 2: Traded further back with SF, pick 6 for 12, 43, and 2022 7th rounder, then started my draft. TE Pitts was available, but OT was too much of a need, so passed on stealing Pitts. Amazingly, there was a run on OTs, QBs, and CBs. So I nabbed Pitts at 37.

TRADE 3: Traded pick 105 and SF 2022 7th rounder to ATL for picks 108 and 166 just for value.

CIN
12. Rashawn Slater OT Northwestern trade icon
(2nd best tackle that went up against better competition, more versatile)

CIN
37. Kyle Pitts TE Florida trade icon
(steal! more of a mismatch than getting the elite WRs at the top of the draft)

CIN
38. Wyatt Davis OG Ohio State
(best pure OG in draft, gotta love OSU guards)

CIN
43. Carlos Basham Jr. EDGE Wake Forest trade icon
(totally aiming for this DE, can play 4-3 or 3-4 DE)

CIN
108. Rodarius Williams CB Oklahoma State trade icon
(steal for a 6 ft DB)

CIN
136. Adetokunbo Ogundeji DT Notre Dame

CIN
166. Trey Hill OC Georgia trade icon
(I think one of the better OCs in the draft)

CIN
169. Anthony Schwartz WR Auburn
(speedy slot receiver)

CIN
199. Paris Ford S Pitt

CIN
201. Riley Cole LB South Alabama

HIRE ME NOW, MIKE!!!

This draft sounds like a hoot. Tell me more...

I’m fine with that. Or anything else that would streamline the process
