Also would like Pitts if Sewell is gone at 5 or like you said, trade back and grab Slater or Waddle.

It just sounds kind of weird to hear he's meeting with the Giants, he already to met with the Bears, and "he still has the Bengals offer on the table."
It almost sounds like we're an afterthought. These teams meet him in person, and while we just phoned him up and said "here's what we'll offer, call us back if you don't get anything better."
Fwiw, I'm not saying this is what's happening (I don't even know if he's scheduled for a visit), I'm just saying it kinda reads that way.
From what I understand, Bengals have a "strong" one year offer on the table. No visits as of yet. Also, we have to wait another day because of this:

Or the Reiffer jokes.
Bet you are happy with this signing as we all are, but you are the guy who really brought Reiff into my mind cause he fits our scheme. Wonder how long of a contract it is, hope it is at least a 2 year contract.

I'd be cool with either of these moves as well. Depending on who we take at 5 if we don't get Sewell.
The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.

I’d still like the Sewell pick or any early round o-lineman just to beef that o-line up to a point where Joe Mixon can truly be unleashed

Would be more than fine with this but what makes the Reiff grab so great is now we are open to other possibilities.
Kyle Pitts could be the next great TE.

That gives them the option to grab Sewell if they want

Yeah... They also traded for a 1st rd Tackle from Titans. 1yr deal doesn't take Chase off their board though, but it definitely makes things interesting.

I think they still take Smith or Chase cause of Fuller coming off injury.

That first round tackle they picked up from tennesse isn’t a sure thing though. Guy has major character concerns and the fact that the Titans were willing to part with him so quickly is a red flag.
The Miami front office shouldn’t bank on that working out.

Coming off suspension you mean? He was not injured in 2020. Suspended last 6games and 1st game of 2021 due to PEDs

Yeah I wouldn't say OT is off their board either, just that they acquired a 1st rd OT from Titans who did NOT want to play for Vrabel and wanted out. He does have character concerns though you're right there.

I meant having an injury history, but yeah, that too and like you said it is only a 1 year deal.

Miami drafted 2 T's in the first last year, in addition to the Wilson trade. They aren't taking Sewell. Likely going Pitts, WR, or Parsons.

Yeah 1yr deal is meaningful. I don't think this changes their draft board, but it does ever so slightly give them the ability to NOT take WR at 3, and maybe at 18. Since they will have 2 higher tier guys already on the roster. We shall see
