Basically same deal Fatukasi got in JAX which that is basically the going rate in this market, especially when you see what Larry o got.

Per twitter. 3 years $30M, $15M in the first year.

$15 mill for this year seems really steep given the lack of cap space, but I'm happy to see him back.
MY GUY!
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

Have Waynes and Hopkins been cut yet? That's a good chunk of dough.
Everything in this post is my fault.

Yeah, ok … I’ll take it…

That was a big one. Now DL doesn’t become a need this year. Honestly DB is the biggest need on defense
#9
Great news! After grabbing two O line he was my next biggest concern. Worst case scenario we go into the draft with no other major additions and we are still improved at that point vs last year

Same comment. That's a hefty price tag. I don't know.

I want to front load as much cap as possible this year. We have a QB who we can extend/should next year.

Get rid and Hopkins and Wayne’s and it’s covered. I’d rather have him than those two.

That's not what that means, $15 million is what he gets paid in year 1 which includes signing bonus. So it could be $10 million signing bonus plus $5 millions salary. His Cap hit would be 8.3 million in that scenario.

That’s a lot of money, but, it’s the going rate so that’s that. I’m happy though. Glad we are able to keep him.

Now get a damn RT!!!

I'm excited to see what kind of numbers he puts up with more than 50% of the snaps.

Gross overpay for a guy who is a backup that hasn't played more than 47% of the snaps since 2018 coming off a career year. They just made BJ Hill the 15th highest paid DT in the league.

Maybe that's the reason - extending Burrow.

I guess I was just hoping the Bengals would try to add as much talent as possible for this year and next, holding off his extension until 2024.
