1-3 and a SB trophy is better.

Lordy, you'd think ZT was so good we could have traded the #1 pick for Burrow for five 1st round picks and build a juggernaut team around Andy Dalton.

This is fun I’ll play. The Andy Reid who lost HIS first SB? The Andy Reid who lost his first 3 NFC Championship Games?

Get back with me when the Bengals actually win a SB or two.

Why are you doing this? There’s absolutely nothing wrong with admitting Reid is a better coach than Taylor. Just like admitting Mahomes is currently better than Burrow.

Zac Taylor with the highest winning playoff % of any current head coach. Obviously Andy Reid is the better coach because of his body of work. But Zac has a great start.

I just realized we're having the ZT debate in a thread about Mixon's off the field stuff. We're outta control, here.

Interesting Andy Reid lost his first Super Bowl by 3 points too.

KC has already drawn up the blueprint for success for teams having a great QB making $45 million a year. That is to go cheaper on RB's and WR's and protect the franchise QB with a great O-line and give him time to make his reads.

Which is basically just common sense which JoeM seems to not exercise at times.

I appreciate that Mike took ownership of some of that stuff in this 2013 article, but the draft picks, contracts, and FAs after this article coupled w ZT's hiring and the roster's character makeup being virtually completely different since - I would have to say Marvin was a massive influencer of Mike in this way. Marvin left and the roster immediately did an about face into high character guys. Burfict cut, etc. The fact that Joe Mixon was left on the roster while Dunlap was traded would tell me Mixon has done his part to turn himself around.... which is what this thread is about.

^ The caveat to this being, perhaps with the hiring of Taylor, Mike stepped far enough away from any personnel stuff and lets Katie, Troy, & Duke do it all now. But, that's speculation.

This POS comment above regarding those that regretted touching you just puts the cherry on top of this bullshit sundae you have been trying to sell all week.

You seem confused... AGAIN. We are just talking here. Words are words. I don't enjoy violence or fights. I hate seeing it or being around it. I don't understand what's so gross about my comment. Help me understand.... If someone hits or strikes out at you, what do you personally do? Sounds to me as if you just let them hit you? I find that hard to believe, but feel free to tell me where my statement is out of line. I'll listen.

I'm the last person who would get upset that you have a different opinion than I do. I didn't say that to tough guy anyone or to intimidate anyone reading this. Not at all. Even though you're pissed off at this conversation, I would be the first guy to buy you and everyone else wings if there were ever a Bengalsboard meetup. It's fine by me if you staunchly dissagree and things are said in the heat of debate. We're dudes. I can dissagree with you on this but still agree with you on something else. But if people started hitting each other? That's a totally different thing.

I've honestly read everything you've written in the hopes to have learned something. Unfortunately, I haven't. The main points you've tried to make in this discussion I disproved with facts and links to those facts. The proof of that is that when I provided links and quotes directly refuting your makebelieve version of events - you stopped quoting and responding to my posts with the exception of cutting out little snippets like the above. In fact, you've basically stopped talking about the Mixon incident all together and just try to personally attack me. Why? < -------- That's rhetorical. I know why. And I'm ok with it.

Their OL was in place when they had Tyreek. They made the move to protect Mahomes after losing the SB. They hit on Creed Humphrey and Trey Smith both in the same draft. They went and got Orlando Brown who won’t return next year because of the cost. KC has drafted fabulously and have had rookie contracts that saved their bacon. But you are right they don’t have high priced receivers or backs.

Nice to see Zac being compared to Andy Reid. Seems like only yesterday we were comparing him to Dave Shula

And it’s Lou who’s owned the Chiefs, not Zac/Callahan.

No argument that Taylor is not (yet?) comparable to Reid as HC. But, no, it's not only Lou who's owned the Chiefs. It's Zac and Lou and Callahan. We've still outscored the Chiefs in our wins and not because our defense was getting safeties and defensive TDs.
