Where does that leave DJ Turner?
CB4?

If so, you gotta wonder about these "stud" DBs that came out of Michigan if Hill also potentially gets demoted, as Hilton is gonna continue to start at nickel unless he were to get let go.

Perhaps the Michigan secondary appeared to be better than they are showing as Pros because their DL was playing so well?

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

You use 3 outside CBs pretty frequently, and inevitably at least one of them will get hurt for awhile. It's why I am actually on team re-sign Awuzie, you need 3 outside CBs, and absolutely Turner would be kicked to the #3 outside, he was not good last year.

this likely means Henry is gone for sure

Titans are giving former Cowboys running back a three-year, $24 millon deal, per source.

Just not good to essentially be a backup in your 2nd (or in case of Hill, 3rd) season as such an early round pick.
Hard to get into starting role during your rookie contract if you aren't in that spot after a year or two.
Look what's happened with Jackson Carman.
He showed some flashes as a rookie, then he lost the starting LG spot to Volson in his 2nd year and hasn't gotten even close to starter opportunity since.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

Putting Wilkins together with Myles Garrett would be seriously scary

At this point should we just swap thread titles? ?

The Browns have zero cap room yet can sign Wilkins but we're not interested with plenty of space? How does this make any sense?

Jessie Bates left the Bengals and that makes me sad!

If the top DT market is high and takes a while to settle, the Bengals would be smart to just land RT and Fuller now and if needed make a trade for a quality DT if Reader walks.

Resigned Drew to a 3 year deal so doubt it’s for minimum.

Erm ok

Updated with Nick Scott release. +$2 mil to dead cap, but minus $4.3 on salary. Nets $2.3 in savings.

Spotrac numbers on cap hits for new signings are: Stone $6.025, Moss $2.972, Gesicki $2.5. I am using reported numbers for Sample ($4.9), ADG ($3) and guessing vetin for T. Williams. The actual Sample/ADG numbers are probably lower.

We have 45 who were on our 53 last year. Allowing the cap hit for #18 and re-signing some vet min types (Irwin, Scharping, Tupou, Bailey, Bachie, Hudson, etc) to get us to 51, and taking out roughly $4 mil for the PS, leaves us at roughly $33.5 in space.

Total = 56 (20 + 22 + 3 + 11).

A. Offense: (20)
QB (2): Burrow; Browning
RB (4): Moss; C. Brown, T. Williams, Evans
