Willie Anderson Says Mims Will Be A Monster!
#1
Willie Anderson was at training camp and had some encouraging words about Mims, saying that he'll "be a monster once he puts it all together!

Nice to see Mims stepping in while Brown is sidelines and impressing a Hall of Fame!

Love that Mims is getting these valuable reps early on to keep him up-to-speed!

That wasn't too flashy or anything but Mims looks good!

This gives me faith that we have our right tackle spot locked down for the future if Mims keeps improving!

WHO-DEY!

Meh.
Anderson also gave his stamp of approval on Jackson Carman, and look how he's turned out.

I'm hopeful for Mims, but I don't particularly think any former player's positive quotes mean much of anything.
I'll believe it when we see it.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Patience has paid off!

Sorry for Party Rocking!

It would be great to have an All Pro tackle. Orlando Brown (He is a Sooner LOL) is not a top 10 LT. Karras & Cappa not All Pro. The OL hasn’t been any better than average for a number of years. Sometimes worse than average. I don’t know if it’s poor evaluation, development, or drafting but they’ve missed the mark. Personally I’m not a Pollack guy.
Romo “ so impressed with Zac ...1 of the best in the NFL… they are just fundamentally sound. Taylor the best winning % in the Playoffs of current coaches. Joe Burrow” Zac is the best head coach in the NFL & that gives me a lot of confidence." Taylor led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, en and appeared in Super Bowl LVI, the first since 1988.

Anderson has also alluded to the fact we are re-signing Chase on Tuesday but he cant ruin the big surprise..

I take what he says with a grain of salt

i just hope he can play a full season worth of snaps..... he seemed very limited in college looking at total numbers

Of course I am excited about Mims, but I am with others and taking what Willie says with a grain of salt here.

Mims is still a rookie with not a ton of snaps in college. He should struggle some like any rookie. Dude is a monster
though that is for sure and has great balance and strength with good hands and quick feet. He has all the intangibles.

Yeah. Words just don't do it for me.

Do something on the field and then we can talk.

Trent better be looking at guard assignments

I truly believe Mims win that job and believed that pre injury

The operative words being, "...once he puts it all together!"

Translation: "Work in progress."

At 6'8" and 350+, he's already a monster compared to most humans. Can't wait to see him develop into the next Bengals RT.

Part of reason for less playing time he was behind McClendon sophomore year who was 1st team SEC and playing for Rams now. I was impressed with Mims at practice last week
