If you are the most hit QB in the league, then your odds of sustaining an injury are tops in the league out of all QB's.

We agree on much, but Burrow being "easily injured" is not one of them.
you ever watch Mahommes run for his life on almost every play..going back to Ohio state ..Burrow has a history of injuries..and sadly I am afraid that this wrist thing will Mark the end of a very short career in the NFL..its a terrible injury for a quarterback

Well.... no QB has ever had this type of wrist injury and Joe said his wrist was fine today?

I don’t know what else they can do. They run this ass-backward scheme because he likes it. They spend millions on OL and waste pick after pick on them. He wants this scheme. Always has.

He isn’t making quick reads. He’s taking hits he shouldn’t. There are durable QBs in this league. Joe Burrow is not even close.
If you see something suspicious, say something suspicious.

Burrow has not played at high level football over multiple games since he signed big contract

Completely untrue. He was fantastic against a couple of the top teams in the 9ers and Bills in back-to-back games last season. Completely lit up Arizona a couple weeks before that, too.

The issue i see with this defense is we don’t have an anchor

Rams had Aaron Donald. You knew every game Aaron Donald was gonna do certain things so you could game plan for those things to be done. They KNEW for a fact he was gonna draw a double team so every blitz every zone was called with that in Mind.

What do we know for a fact is gonna happen with our defense? NOTHING.

It used to be Reader. He’s the only player offensive coordinators have to gameplan for besides Trey Hendrickson and we let him go and replaced him with a worse version and thought we’d be fine

ATP I’m questioning the FO and its team building IQ.

This year what to do with Reader was the biggest story. We decided to let him walk….fine. Signing Rankins and drafting 2 DTs tell me that we acknowledged Reader was super important.

I want to say our solution was a simple miss but it may turn out to be season crippling.

A lot of ppl have said this over the years but every snap without Bates or became obvious and now every snap without Reader it becomes more obvious.

We have a safety who erased a whole segment of the field and we had a DT who couldn’t be blocked and they were both CONSISTENT. They did it mostly every game they played in.

What constant do we have now? Trey H is a constant but he’s ineffective at times
For a whole quarter.

As bad as today was, what might have been the most disheartening was we had the ball with plenty of time left only down by 6 with a top 5 $200 million dollar QB and the soon to be highest paid WR in the league on the field and we go three and out. Big time players live for those moments. And the cherry on top was Zac not going for it on 4th down. Unbelievable really.

Over multiple games, ie back to back, today was major disappointment with completely  healthy , a better line performed avg at best, granted it was not completely healthy in some games but throw out Ravens game last yr since start of 2023  past 10 games 14 TDs total..

After watching the Bengals for 35 or so years now, it is not only believable, it's expected.  lol.

Unbelievable sums it up best.  Look at NEs roster and stats and being on the road...and they won?  Belies belief or something.

Disagree.

24.43%
52.49%
38.32%
48.77%

Can you really call a guy your "anchor" if he routinely plays less than half of the defensive snaps? Reader was very good when he was on the field, but he was never on the field.

Their SB winning year Donald played 89.51% of their defensive snaps.
The year they went to the SB and lost he played 90.41% of their defensive snaps.

Is Burrow good? Yes.Is Burrow an elite QB? No. Stats and injuries do not correlate with a future Hall of Famer. Everyone loves the guy for his personality and his infrequent great games. Burrow era? Laughable. At this point he has nothing over Kenny, Boomer and, even, Andy.

I know, all the Burrow lovers will hate me but, as my Dad always told me about my promises, "Don't tell me, show me."

I wish him the best for the future, but, he is an above average QB with few tools. I wish for this team an average "199th pick Brady" QB with the great coaches, dedicated, talented players and a mindset to win. Yes, it does take a team to win.

Paying divas like Chase and Burrow is a losing long game plan and drains the ability to pay other talented/elite players. Today is proof of my point, AND, next week will certainly solidify my opinion.

He still played well enough to win but even i felt there was a small issue with Burrow. Just didn’t seem like he had the fire even though he remained fairly accurate all game.

No deep shots is kinda crazy. Definitely had to be something up with Burrow

Also atp not playing Burton because he didn’t check some dumbass box in practice is stupid. No WR could get open all game

9ers & Bills was literally back-to-back games.

Hahahahahahaha

In his first two full seasons he went to a Super Bowl and back-to-back AFC Championship games behind absolutely terrible OL’s. Andy couldn’t even win a single playoff game with actual GOOD offensive lines.

Get a clue, Pee Wee.

Burrow is elite. The coaching/scheme is probably average to below average. And the WRs outside of Chase and Tee are questionable. We probably have one of the worst starting RBs in the league.

Agree. Reader was good run stuffer, but not a pass rusher at all.

People are just lying to themselves if they don’t think guys like Reid, Shanahan, McVay, and McDaniel wouldn’t be far more successful with Burrow than Taylor has been.
