they did not neglect on defense.it just is a perfect storm of injuries to  defensive starters and numerous highly talented rookies all at once

Burrow has a 70%+ completion percentage, 12 TDs to only 2 INT, and his highest season QB rating in his career (113+). Yet, here we are at 1-4.

Brown fails again for not building an organization capable of winning and supporting the super star QB.

wrong..it just has been the perfect storm of injuries to defensive starters and some very good rookie defensive linemen they drafted..Bengals were in the Superbowl..conference championships two out of the last three years ..and had burrow not been hurt last year..whos knows how far we would have gone..Relax

How long have you followed this organization?

I didn't mind at all playing for a FG in OT because that's all you needed to win. I just minded playing for a 53 yard FG.

If it were Fat Randy, I agree completely.

I don't think Evan would miss there, unless there is an operation botch (where

Still hilarious to me that people are blaming burrow for that kc game. Did they not remember how it ended?

Yep. Burrow is statistically the best qb in the NFL. He's not the problem.

Dude is gonna spend Burrow’s entire time here hating him because he wasn’t ready to move on from Andy. It’s so weird.

Exactly Truck.....and then people, being the cattle that they are, can't think for themselves and just parrot what they hear/see in print. It's comical actually.

Agreed Truck.....I would see Leonard's viewpoint more if it were a different kicker. We paid this guy for EXACTLY this reason/scenario, and people are losing their minds about giving him the shot to win it.

Stuff like this happening is why you need to beat teams like the Patriots and Commanders at home. Bad snaps and grueling last second losses happen, but when they make you 1-4 instead of  3-2 as a result because you just can't beat the teams you were supposed to you have less margin for error and less of a reason for people to shrug and give the "shit happens" excuse to it all.

But at the same time, it's the Burrow era Bengals so every frustrating loss early just turns into "well, just add an extra win to our usual 10+ game winning streak that'll pull us back into the picture."

If it comes to that - and I am almost certain it will - the franchise needs to be shuttered or sold.
If you see something suspicious, say something suspicious.

You're exactly right there. Against NE, the whole damn team stunk. Against the Commanders, the defense didn't get one lousy stop. It's so frustrating to watch this offense finally have a decent line and ball out, only to be wasted by a historically bad defense.

Burrow did have a fumble, returned for a TD. That didn’t help them win, huge turn around.

Thats said, Zac did call a pass play and Burrow DID check out of it to a run.

same front office that was responsible for the team going to the superbowl..winning the AFC and then next year the conference championship?

same organization that won the afc and went to the superbowl 3 years ago..same organization that won the conference two years ago..and had not burrow been injured last year who knows....we had a perfect storm of defensive injuries..we will be fine

probably longer than you..but that is  not important...this organization is entirely diffrent now..quit living in the past..we have  had a perfect storm of injuries to both key starters on defense ..and some great rookies that were drafted to help on the defensive line..it will get better
