It hurts…a lot but that he has played through worse the aircast was placed on the leg because when it happened he wouldn’t let the trainers touch it due to the pain Having met a few of these in dark parking lots, I understand him completely.....

Remember he had one of the quickest releases in the pass game because he had to. How many times did he ever get to his 2nd read? His happy feet & O-line would'nt allow it. We had good run blocking those years.

For many years he got used to locking in on AJ Green and the rest of the field was virtually invisible to him. It's pretty hard to be worse than Cody Ford in pass protection, to be fair. Carman, even if not someone who has the drive to be great, still might be better in this area comparatively. There are dudes available that are probably better from a talent perspective, but the one thing Carman would have over them is already knowing the system such that he could step in Sunday if needed. The other dudes may take a couple weeks to get acclimated. Regardless, I think there has to be a move made. You can't trust Ford on the left side, same with Stueber.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season Zac Taylor 2024: 3-5 so far. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive. Sorry for Party Rocking!

So, yes, he would read the defense, decide where the ball is most likely going all before the snap. Couple that with having AJ Green at WR1 and it's not really surprising Dalton would throw to his first read most of the time.

I don't know what you were on with that link, or how you failed to notice Brown getting hurt last game and Ford coning in, but I'd stop smoking it if I were you. Ford played 37 snaps on offense last week. 4 on ST. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/202410200cle.htm#all_vis_snap_counts

Yes Ford played 37 snaps on the 20th against the Browns. You might want to check the date of Sled's post and the date of my reply, the one you quoted above. :) ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ

Speaking of Andy he was in a car accident today with the whole family. Sounds like everyone is ok thankfully.

All true, we brought in Andrew Coker who I like but he is not an immediate answer either as he will have to learn the system. Cochran will probably be the OT brought up from the PS but either way we will be in a tough spot Sunday at LT if Orlando cannot go.

Orlando Brown, listed as day to day, is in uniform for practice. I still expect him to be limited. Geno Stone participated in this morning’s walk through
edit: Stone did not come out with the team. Brown only stretched and did not participate in open practice Winning makes believers of us all
