Is this a new rule or something?

Nothing wrong with that, but posting every 5 minutes to fire Zac is ********

My take is that Zac is going to be here no matter what, I just want him to be better situationally.  I like the HC calling plays, otherwise we would be going through OCs and new offenses every other year.  A little more killer instinct would be great.

Also, it is very normal for fans to criticize their own coach.

I am not affiliated with the bengals aside from being a long time fan..the difference between you and I though I simply deal with facts and dont read into something when it is good. It is extremely difficult to win a game in the NFL on any given Sunday.. Your ttake on Zac Taylor is correct..why would they even think abouit getting rid of the dude with the success he has had recently..As far as what goes on.. in the game..there may be a 1001 things that we fans dont realize that is acutally going on including but not limited to certain players ..playing with injuries... Also it is very normal for many fans to support their coaches....Have a great day.

This is a shortsighted perspective. People do not have to restrict posts to the most recent game.

If we follow this simple logic then Bengalholic might as well shut down the forum. It's safe to assume a large percentage of us have little to no qualifications to criticize or praise an NFL coach.

Don't sweat it. No one is going to take away your right to bytch. I just found it silly to do so after a division win against a team that has owned us.

Feel free to share your perspective.

I'm not sweating it and no need to feign concern for me.

I could have called you "short sighted".

I get it, some people are so football illiterate that they think that even if we win a very sloppy game that the coaches did everything right.  Thats just not the case, questioning some play calls is normal for those that intelligently discuss football.

Perhaps we should have an additional forum created titled "Sunshine Pumpers" with a rule that nothing negative can be said of the coach.  You could moderate.

I would love for each of us to have to post our real names and football qualifications.   Questioning a couple of play calls is far from demanding Zac be fired.

Again, it is dumb to think that just because a game is won that the tiniest bit of criticism over a couple of play calls would be admonished so harshly by some of you.  And let's face it, some of you truly fit the bill of Sandwedge's comment regarding lack of qualification.

I'm not sharing my real name, but I had high enough football intelligence back in the day to know that the first run play was taking it to the house.

C'mon Ceasar, you know in the GDT it's always the same people posting fire Zac. There have been a few in this forum as well.
I have questioned some play calls myself, but I also know that we don't know the scheme or what is planned or what's going on down on the sidelines.

Right

It's one of the reasons I barely dip a toe into the game day threads anymore. Like our CB gets burnt on a play and 20 posts come out "he sucks", "trade him now" blah blah.

Fact is you can come up with all kinds of tape on the best CB's who ever played getting burnt. On and on

none of us have been coaches @ the NFL level..including yourself....... lol@ the tinniest bit of criticism"....nothing wrong with that..but to consistently call for the firing of a coach that just won divsional ballgame on the road...againts a very good defense...a coach that has taken this team to the superbowl, won conference championships and has done well the past three years...even with Burrow injured...that is just ridiculous.  lol@ qualifications..we all love our bengals ..and whether we are plumbers , lawyers , doctors , electricians, highschool kids etc.....posting on this board does not qualify or disqualify any of us or make any of us more knowledgeable than one another...Like others I have some legitimate concerns..1) why is this team not ready to play on day one of the season..2) why cant we find reliable and consistent  receivers outseide of Chase and Tee...have a great day..enjoy the game

questioning playcalling is wonderful..and we have been spoiled by an offense that can be wonderfully spectacular  and so much fun to watch..and it is hard to not see this same offense be spectacular all the time..but that is the nfl...conversely  consistently callingfor the firing of a rather succesful coach ..even after said coach just won a divisional road game is just plain ridiculous..have a great day enjoy the game today..
