Time to face the facts, this team is mediocre

Sure they can beat awful teams like the Browns, Panthers and Giants but this team just can't compete with elite offenses

We're just flat out bad, honestly.  Also we didn't exactly blow the doors off CAR, NYG and CLE.  Any more wins will likely be due to the other teams miscues.

No we're not, mediocre is a synonym for average. By definition, we are below mediocre.

very true and it'll stay that way as long as nothing changes..Lou anarumo has no aggression instead of mixing it and being unpredictable he's instead very Very predictable and good defenses has to maintain some level of unpredictability or it's bed time especially when you're getting zero pass with the down lineman..

Two games below, but we'll get that to one next week!  Then back to two again the following week  Sad

Agreed. He unfortunately has not taken a step forward at all.

I don't agree at all. We are a below average team as long as we have Taylor as the HC.

Cleveland would have beat us if they put Winston in when the creep got hurt

The team is mediocre (or below) due to a bad coaching staff, and ownership that is ok with ok. At the end of the year they should ask themselves, are we doing everything we can to be the best team. If this coaching staff remains, then we know they aren’t asking that question.

Burton is good for 1 big play every other game. But he cleary isnt grasping the playbook. If he was, he'd absolutely be playing over Yoshi.

this shouldnt be a surprise to anyone. The guy has issues. Saban said so. Theres a reason he fell tot he 3rd. Guy has a bad bad case of a.d.d

That's been the truth for 2 years.

I like Yoshi but I think he's a 4th WR. Doesn't help us if we need him to be a 2 or 3 WR. This organization has a real problem over valuing draft picks and it's killing us right now. We let some key pieces walk wondering how we could make it work when if we were proactive and signed them early and figured out how to make it work later we could've really set ourselves up. As all the fans think we are in a super bowl window the team acts like we are just a middle of the pack team. If your in a window you can't let talent walk and expect to just replace them with draft picks. The season is lost and unless the FO can pull a rabbit out of there butt it's gonna be years before we can build something back up.

If you watched the season opener, you knew what kind of team we are. We haven’t beaten anyone good. We’re not a good team at all. Our offense is good enough to win games, but we need a mid level defense. Our defense is so damn bad it’s pathetic. They didn’t do anything this off-season to upgrade. The moves they made were a joke. They spent middle tier dollars on middle tier guys. Remember why? It was because we needed to sign Tee and Chase long term. At the very least, Chase, right? Why didn’t that happen? They have cap space. We all know the answers

Yoshi doesn't get reps outside of probably 5th wr on good teams.

as as an offense we seem to not be able to compete with against good defenses as a whole either.. This team was setup to win on offense not defense, I totally agree our defense is not good but even today we scored just 17 points and had 2 turnovers
