Yeah...the whole games behind stuff to me us funny. Need 9 or 10 wins for playoffs.

We're 3-5. 9 games to go. That means 6-3 or 7-2 finish.

The way our defense is playing, no way.

Watching the Bengals play versus watching any other team is no comparison. Other teams, the defense is flying around the field with gang tackling and enthusiasm, DB’s stick on receivers, run stuffing, etc. I see none of that on the Bengals defense. They are lethargic, uninspired, constantly out of position, leaving receivers wide open, can’t get pressure on the Qb, can’t tackle a running back with out giving up an additional 5 yards.

The offense is so vanilla, very one in the league knows our offense better than us, and beat us to the spot.

We have no chance with this coaches on both sides of the ball. I could call better plays in Xbox Madden football, than we see in the games. In fact I suggest that both the defense and offense coordinator play some Madden football, maybe they will learn something.

By the way, I hear Chip Kelly may be looking for a job, with the way he has trashed Ohio States offense. That’s someone we could get to further degrade our offense.

Offense is not balanced, built to be balanced, or committed to pursuing balance.  And yes, IMO this includes even considering signing both Chase and Higgins.

Yoshi bobbles the ball too much when he catches it not sure handed at all.

Burton and Charlie Jones hands are way better then Yoshi and think both are faster as well.

You do not return a kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown without being talented if a coach cannot fit a guy like that into your passing game it is on the coach.

Sizzle was the leading Slot guy till Zac switched to Yoshi a week before the season started.

This team is not very good. I could go on. But the talent has not been developed and the defense is trash outside of both backers. FO missed on too many draft choices and when they do hit on talent, they let them walk.

Nope it's worst the Bengals will end somewhere between 6 to 8 wins and be drafting around  #12 to #15.... In a draft class where there are only around 10 to 12 total first round graded players.

Yeah, I think mediocre may be giving them too much credit. I would classify us as a bad team. This defense is truly horrible.

I've been complaining offense and defense never play the same every game, one up and one down. Well yesterday they were finally on par and both sucked. 

There are no quick fixes any more here. Theres too much wrong from player talent to coaching (talent).

Heading right back to the 90's.  No reason to think anything will change in the next few years.  Tee will be gone.  Burrow will be more damaged.  Chase getting older.  FO sucks, no coaching changes and will draft crap.

I hope everyone here enjoyed the 2 good years we had because that is most likely it for a long, long time.  The window is closed.  It's over.  We suck BAD!

I feel like this is more outside of the games themselves and more around player development.

I think this ultimately boils down to how well the Bengals added FAs and high draft picks back in 2020-2021 but now they are having to figure things out with a tighter purse due to some big contracts and haven't done a good job of that.

Bates and Reader departing in FA were probably the two biggest hits to this defense.
They have no game-changing DBs now.
Their DL can't seem to get any pressure or sacks outside of Hendrickson.
Out of Hendrickson, the DL has only 4 sacks.
For offense, there hasn't been anyone really to step up for Mixon and Boyd departing.
Bengals are heavily dependent on Higgins being healthy to have any type of passing offense.
