The Vegas guy Mo had on the radio last week liked the Eagles.

Bengals were 2.5 favorites this same time last week against Philly. Not sure if the gap closed before gametime.

They've feasted on bad teams (giants, browns, bengals) to save their season and Head Coach.

Definitely a tough one.
Short week, and Ravens at home in a primetime night reg season game are typically very very good.

Not liking Cincy's chances in that one.

Anyone who sees this season as salvageable is delusional or a true homer. Wake up. This team has beaten the Browns when they played 3 qbs, the panthers, and the giants lol. What else do you need to see? us beating the raiders is going to give you hope?! If we’re lucky, and I mean this in all sincerity, we win no more than 2 more games this year and get a top 5 pick. It’s the only way we ever hit on draft picks. Our Bengals luck, we win 5 more games and are picking 15+. We have too many holes. Interior O line. Interior D line, edge, and the ENTIRE secondary is garbage. CTB shouldn’t be resigned after his rookie deal is up. He’s going to want a big contract and he doesn’t deserve one. Only way out of this mess is a complete rebuild (I’m not advocating for that): trade Hendrickson, chase, tee. Probably the only players worth anything.

I’d prefer to go hard in free agency. That means let Tee go but get a cheap vet WR. We need to fix the D. We literally need to score almost every single drive to have a shot at winning. That’s not sustainable

Still have two Thursday night games (Ravens, Browns) and the Browns are included in that three games in 10 days stretch (Cowboys, Titans, Browns). The worst part of rhe schedule is ahead not behind.

Those ready to QUIT before Halloween, it is too early.  There is NO QUIT in Football.

GO BENGALS, beat the Raiders.

And probably not the Chargers or the Steelers.  The bye's in there and we'll probably lose that, too.

There's no doubting that if we were to win the next two, the outlook is a lot better. That would be 5-5 and with a win in the Ravens backyard. The other games look more winnable from that point.

BUT... before I look like Kevin 2.0, I'm not optimistic either. Even if we do the above, I'm far from convinced the team has enough about it to then go on and finish strongly. This is not the same Bengals from two year ago, who started slowly but clearly could be a powerhouse when they got it together... which they did. This team... I don't know the offence can really do any more than they are. Some better playcalling sure, but there's not a raft of potential to unlock there. The defence are just awful. Even if we made it in, on what planet is our defence going to take us anywhere in the postseason.

And... I don't expect us to win in Baltimore. I do think we'll beat the Raiders. We should have had game 1 against the Ravens, but I do think it'll be more of a formality this time.

I admire your never say die attitude. And there is a lot of season left. But Philly isn't a SB quality team, they just looked like it against us.

We don't stop the run or cover well, and Trey is our only pass rush. And he got shut down yesterday. 3 total pressures, AS A TEAM. And Lou doesn't blitz much.

On O we are predictable. We cannot run the ball. ZT calls terrible plays. Terrible on short yardage. Tough to pass protect because we cannot/do not run it well AND are predictable.

I mean, did ANYONE think a run was possible on 4th & 1? Anyone?

Pretty much where I am at now. The Defense under Lou shown yesterday they just cannot make stops or plays when it matters.

Yah never know, they could surprise and start playing better but it might be too late and the way Zac and Joe like to throw the ball so much
is just a bad gamble. 3 things can happen when you pass and 2 of them are bad.
