While I agree they could have done better things with the $21m (plus the 2nd round pick they probably could have gotten for him if they traded him in the offseason)... this FO probably just wastes it all anyway. Their 4 scouts aren't exactly tearing it up draft-wise, and they had cap space and decided to spend $18m of it on the defense this year on Rankins and Stone. You can have unlimited money and unlimited draft picks, but if you are incompetent it's largely a moot point. ____________________________________________________________
