Maybe these coaches tolerate players not doing their jobs, but the players busting their rear ends are sick of it. Hate to say it, but we can stop calling him Money Mac, he had 2 chances to win the game and blew both of them.
I like the way Bengals fought back in second half. Some players do want to win. Forget Play-Offs, but for Pride they need to get after The Steelers in 2 weeks. They could still lay 2 losses on Steelers and another loss on The Browns. I do like the way they fought back in 2nd half after Hubbard jumped on some teammates, I just wish McPherson had made one of those late Field Goals. We should drop the Money Mac hype.
I noticed Britt got benched, but is that what it takes around here for coaches and GM to make the right moves, that Hubbard has to blow up on Britt and others on the sideline. Even Collinsworth and the other announcer said Britt leads NFL CB's in giving up big plays and TD's. This is not the first game I've heard TV announcers mention how awful Britt is. So why did it take Hubbard blowing up for Bengals coaches to finally bench Britt ? Bengals D did look better once Britt was off the field. So what's wrong with our coaches ?

The Bengal way. Instead of 'Who Dey' it should be 'Who Hasn't' That WD BS went out after the 49ers beat them a second time back in 88-89 season. Just drop the W-D nonsense since thay are unable to play to those standards. It's an embarrassing and asinine slogan and always has been.

They started off big 4.6 type LBs. Other LBs shed weight as they age to not lose a step, ours seem to have added on over time and they're both in their age 28 season now.

After last nights loss, and officially being out of playoff contention, I’m hoping we lose out. Getting a top 10 pick is now the new goal for the Cincinnati Bengals. We have to tag and trade Tee.
We need to sign 2 veteran DB, draft another rusher, C and LG. Sign 2 better S, and an older WR who may serve as a decent #2.

Well, it was Pratt. But, since he was brought up, how awful is Hubbard? For all of the PT be still gets for some unknown reason, he literally didn’t even show up in last night’s Box Score. Seriously, go look it up. Not even an assisted tackle. It’s like he didn’t even play, which he essentially didn’t.

I don't have a problem with Wilson but Pratt has been bad for a couple years now.

Herbert made Wilson look like he was running in cement. It was real bad.
Pratt I am not sure if it's he got paid and then dropped off or if he's clearly a 2-down LB pretending to be a 3-down LB. They both happened at the same time, so hard to tell if it was one, the other, or both.

I think with Pratt it's a combo of getting paid and I think he's a 2 down LB for sure.

Weird how we lose Reader and the LB's seem ineffective.
Remember how Marvin used to draft a ton of LB's? Unless you get a Takeo Spikes, you need good DT's to keep lineman off your LB's or they suck.
They are “slow” because they have to hang around on run plays more which explains 1st and 2nd down but to my eye test they are still both decent on 3rd down right? I have no stat on that just seems like all the miscommunication is in the secondary on 3rd downs

That’s because our current d-line is trash outside of Hendrickson’s pass rush. Hubbard is erased by even the smallest of tight-ends. It’s too simple for other teams o-line to make it to the next level of blocking. Plus I don’t know if it’s Lou scheme that has them crashing the wrong hole or if they are missing their reads. When in zone our guys give a ton of cushion and look in the backfield rather than provide blanketing coverage on any man in the zone. It’s incredulous we have top 1% of athletes that played high level football in HS and College and were top of their teams in most situations and we can’t operate simple zone coverage.
