I would like to see a FB next season

I think Sample is their modern day “fullback”. Good blocker who helps on the line and can leak out and catch a few passes here and there.
He definitely runs with the ball like a big fullback - not like the TEs in todays NFL.

When was the last time we had a FB? Chris Pressley? That guy that went to the Patriots, forgot his name?
Burkhead?

All I want to hear about on offense is upgrading the guards and finding a real replacement for Tee.

FB would be pretty far down the list.

Erick All was the H-Back. They don't really have another one on the roster.

They tried Cam Grandy against rhe Chargers but when he pulled around the edge to lead block he saw multiple blue jerseys and froze. It might have been his only snap lol.

Ryan Hewitt was an H-Back/TE type and he was pretty damn good a couple years for us. I wouldn't call him a true FB.

Rex Burkhead was a RB, not a FB.

Thanks Bfine on James Devlin.

Devlin was the dude I was thinking of that we cut and he went to the Patriots and I saw him a lot with Brady and believe he won a Super Bowl.

Nice call on Tyler Warren but he would have to be an early pick, dude is balling out for Penn State.

Tyler Kroft. Best goal line FB we ever had was Peko....

Maybe it's me but I see a pattern here.

Perine was not a FB and actually the Bengals offered him a 2 year contract for 7.5 m... same contract that he signed with Denver, he thought he could maybe be the starting back in Denver, that is did not work out was cut  and now is pretty much riding the bench with KC.

Ah, Devlin had it even better than I thought. He was a good blocking FB from what I saw for those Pats as well.
