I shook my head in disgust when watching him make plays on Thanksgiving Day.

I'll admit I didn't know if DJ could bounce back that quickly, so I was ok with the decision to let him go. I was wrong. I wasn't ok with what they did to offset the loss.

We’re paying Rankins more than Reader, and Cappa more than Zeitler. Sick

I would hope so. Reader and Zeitler are on other teams.

Team singular.

Time for the Bengals to place an ad, anyone who can block, run, catch, defend, please send your resume to Bengals in care of Cincinnati.

Making it all worse.....I thought Rankins might be able to pass rush, but I didn't believe he would replace DJ plugging up the middle. Instead, we're getting nothing.

Nope.  Drafted, and signed a 5 year deal in 2006.  When his contract was up, he signed with the Texans in 2011.  So there was another good player we didn't re-sign.

I think even the biggest Cordell supporter has had enough. He's at the point now that I'm not sure he's a good back up

I was about to write him off, but then he shows up with the highest Pass Pro grade on the team this week.  Shocked

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

Meh. 60.2 is not good, and only .1 higher than Ford who’s a backup. Volson needs to go. We’ve seen enough at this point.

For sure

I've seen Volson and Cappa get ragdolled way, way to many times this season to believe either just had a bad, or good game. To me it's one of our very highest priorities. Getting both a LG and RG starting caliber players that is.

We've got to give Joe time to throw and be able to run the damn ball.

the bengals need to hire the entire Chiefs staff... 9 yrs strong.. i'm jelly. The only consistency we've had has been losing, except for those 2 seasons that the matrix broke.

I've been in "wait and see" mode with him, but I am done. Time to move on. The Bengals are clearly over it as well.

Volson makes some bonehead mistakes like any offensive lineman and its magnified within this group of commenters..But I have watched him the past two years and the dude is big strong and plays with passion..unlike some other linemen

Cool. He can go play with passion in the CFL.

Where is Frank Booth? That guys has been trying to sell us on Volson for like 3 years straight now. He needs to own up and come eat some crow.
