Luckily for ASU, Texas had Evan McPhearson kicking FGs

ASU shut my mouth. They play a hell of a game. I woulda liked to see a ASU v. Oregon matchup. The old Pac 10.

OSU:
JACK SAWYER/DE: Perhaps as one OSU DE rides off into the sunset another arrives

EMEKA EGBUKA: The next great OSU WR

ORE:
JORDAN BURCH: Many folks like his line-mate Harmon and I wouldn't be against it in the 1st. An injury-plagued season allows us to get JB much later. Size: This Calais Campbell

AJANI CORNELIUS/OL: A day-2 OL who is a natural RT. Perhaps we could move him inside of let him learn until OBJ leaves
I think you need to add Tyliek Williams to the list of OSU players. DT possibility.

I was watching the Tex/ASU game and they announced go to ESPN2 to watch the Rose Bowl, I was like is this a joke? I didn't realize I was listening to the Pat McAfee crew broadcast the game, they suck. It took me about 5 minutes to figure out where to go..

Yup if they passed on LaPorta couple drafts ago for a position that wasn't in need at the time, no chance they take one now.

ASU coach said it best after game, he doesn't know what targeting is. And based on all the rules involved, that was 100% targeting even with ball getting tipped at los. So how the reffing crew agreed it wasnt after video review even is either shady or incompetence.

It depends.  If they don't resign Tee, then they are going to need to present a major olive branch to Burrow.  And they aren't above taking a TE in the 1st if one they feel is worthwhile is available.

(01-01-2025, 02:02 PM)bfine32 Wrote: PEACH BOWL: ASU v. TEX

TEX:
ISAIAH BOND/WR: Bond moved to Tex from Bama and Xavier Worthy became known as "that slow receiver from last year" We have plenty 6'+/200+ WR. We need a Treek Hill

ANDREW MUKUBA/DB: The kind of DB we like can play every position in the backfield but usually lines up at FS

ASU:
CAM SKATTEBO/RB: Cam has looked like a man among boys all year. Let's see if he can be a man among men today

XAVION ALFORD/S: X actually started out as a highly touted recruit who started at TEX.After a year at USC and 2 years on the sidelines he found his way to ASU. X is described as an inspirational team leader

Well three of those 4 had huge imapct on the game.

Skattebo - might be an ass, but he put up 300+ total years on the best defense in the country.

Texas' problem in the second half of the game is that they took their foot off the gas and tried to run out the clock.  The problem was ASU was keying off the running game.  Because of the 3 and outs due to not being able to run ASU held the ball for 13 minutes in the 4th quarter, and the defense wore down.  The total TOP was like 40/20 mins in favor of ASU.  Good on them that they stuck with their gameplan and wore Texas' defense down.  Problem in OT was that they had to rely upon the pass and that made them one dimensionl, which favored Texas, thus the result.  Awesome game.  ASU really showed what the 12 team playoff was supposed to be about.

SUGAR BOWL- UND v. UGA

UND:
Rolling w/ the original 3:
WATTS/S
CROSS/DT
EVANS/TE

UGA:
JALON WALKER/LB: We ask a lot of our LBs and Walker can do it all. Has the size and skillset of Micah Parsons

TATE RATLEGE/OG: Would you use a mid-1st RD pick on a dude who has pro-Bowl potential and will be your starting RG for the next decade?

SMAEL MOLDEN/LB: A different LB than Walker, Molden is a typical off-ball LB, will Walker offers more playing on LOS.

I am a ND fan. Watts is very good and versatile. He can play in the box and is a ball hawk. He is a solid tackler. He would be a great 2nd round pick for us. I would say 3rd round, but don't think he gets out of round 2nd may be gone when we draft.

As for Ratledge, I want to watch him. He is 3rd ranked guard in sites I visit and ranked around 44 to 50 best available.

2024 may go on record as one of most underperforming teams in Bengal history. Bengal's FO has major work to do on defensive side of the ball. I say tag and trade Tee Higgins in 2025 to start with the rebuild.

Might as well mentioned Mykel Williams because he will be a hot name for the Bengals. Mykel has 5 sacks on the season 4 of them have come against Texas including 2 against Kelvin Banks Jr lol.
