He's close to Brown in production but significantly less touches (229) than the other RBs above him.
There are 5 RBs in the league with 300+ touches, 2 of which have 350+.
I agree with your last sentence.
It's ok if a player we think is good didn't make the Pro Bowl.
There is some popularity involved, but it's also often (and mostly) raw production.
The guys who have produced year after year are also going to get the votes over a newcomer like Chase Brown.
Name recognition.
At least half of Josh Allen's rushing TDs were vultured from Cook because Allen is a stat-padding douchenozzle.

Probowl roster has closed the case for Burrow as MVP. How can a player with 7 other probowlers on their team be MVP? Talk about having help and other valuable players to lead if you go down.

Ravens had 8 Pro Bowlers last year when Lamar won.
Chiefs had 7 in 2022 when Mahomes won.
Teams have that many Pro Bowlers because they are good teams that win a lot. Teams that don't win a lot don't get MVP votes.
Rodgers in 2021 is the only time out of the last 5 MVPs the team had less than 7 Pro Bowlers.

Ahh but they do as many attend the pro bowl due to injuries and players not participating. Why so triggered? It's 2025 let that hurt, anger, and overall lameness go.

Buffalo only has one Pro Bowler besides Allen. He’s likely got MVP in the bag. Which is funny considering how much better Lamar’s numbers are. But Lamar won one last year that he probably shouldn’t have so whatever.

Darnold and goff have better cases than allen. I don’t get the Allen for mvp thing. Other than Lamar fatigue, but whoever wins lions/vikes should get mvp

Another reason Allen is my pick over Lamar. Take him off the Bills and them and their 1 other probowler has a 3-14 record. Same with Burrow and his 2 other probowlers. Ravens can rely on the 7 other probowlers (as they have when they've made playoffs with backup Qb's in the past) to be successful.

Another reclamation project too in Baker who could honestly at least be in the conversation. I don’t think any of them will get much love though. But Kevin O’Connell should probably win coach of the year.

Mayfield is 2nd in the NFL with 15 INT. Same thing that hurts Darnold.
You look at the people in the conversation... Lamar Jackson (4), Josh Allen (6), Joe Burrow if the Bengals make the playoffs (8).
It would be hard to overcome throwing ~3x as many INT as the people you're trying to beat. Compounding that with Baker is the fact that the Bucs are only 9-7 in a very weak division and could still miss the playoffs entirely.

ints shouldnt hurt Darnold's case. He has more passing touchdowns, yards, and a higher passer rating than Allen. Same with Goff
Both Goff and Darnold deserve it over Allen. Idk how people and media just ignore those 2

Right. And even if all interceptions are not created equal I’m sure his turnover worthy throws are fairly high with that many picks. Like I said, I don’t think he’s a serious candidate or anything. He’s had a hell of a season though for a guy neither the Browns (lol) or Panthers wanted.

Goff is likely ignored for the same reason Purdy wasn't a top-3 candidate last year. He's doing it with probably the most talented supporting cast on offense in the NFL.
Darnold probably the same reason Geno Smith wasn't a serious candidate in 2022 and finished behind Fields and Herbert. He was a turd his whole career and people don't tend to vote for single abberant breakout seasons because it hasn't been established that the guy is actually good, and he'll probably turn back into a pumpkin.

Congrats to Chase Brown for being an alternate in only his second season. Nice accomplishment for the man on a team that
doesn't run the ball much. Him improving so much catching the ball and in pass protection has been really impressive.

Chase should also end up being our 1st All Pro since Geno and Whit in 2015.
Chase for sure (should be unanimous) but I think Trey has a good chance of joining him. Especially if he can get another sack vs Pitt and lead or tie for most sacks.
Burrow should also get that honor but that’s not going to happen. Probably only gets 3rd team all pro.
