Spot on. The quickest path to the QB is a straight line up the middle. Same with the RB. If the D-Line is backed up by LBs filling the gaps and safeties cleaning up the spills, the scheme works.
I like Fangio's defense, because it attacks downhill. I am really hoping we pursue this guy.
