Peak playoff Lamar/Ravens to make his stats look good right before losing.

Well, the bad guys won Saturday and the good guys won yesterday. Hoping to see a Buffalo/Washington Super Bowl instead of the same old teams.

So Al Golden has to be the guy, right?

Well someone made a good observation, his ND salary  ranks 4th right now in NFL, i am not sure organization should pay him #1/2 in NFL without some  NFL  DC success in resume.

Charlie Goldsmith with some interesting Stats.

31st defense in allowing YAC above expectations.

Worst Run Defense while in Base Packages (5 DL/2LB or 4DL/3LB). The whole needing to play more 3 linebackers group not looking good lol.

31st in pass rush.

Bengald DE duo dropped a ton into coverage. Sam Hubbard 5th, Trey Hendrickson 6th. Highest Duo numbers in thr NFL.

29th in Yards on plays with motions. (Offense)

Defense allowed the 3rd fastest time to throw on deep throws. Corners were getting beat quickly and safeties not squeezing windows.

Other than that we were great!

Dumb question but is the dropping into coverage amongst just DE or all Edges combined?

Jessie Bates left the Bengals and that makes me sad!

That is terrible. Thank God we moved on from Lou regardless of the new guy. I doubt Golden, Graham or the other guys will be any worse.

Patrick Graham is getting a second interview with the Falcons for their HC job.

Welp updated the thread title with the hiring of our Oline coach and it looks like The Dc is down to 2 men, so which one do you prefer?

That is what we thought when Dick Lebeau was hired as our head coach to replace Bruce Coslet. Lebeau was from the Whyce coaching tree.

I am an optimist, but the Bengals need to hire the right guy and also shore up the DL through FA.

I am just not sure I am sold on Golden when other options could be available,

2024 may go on record as one of most underperforming teams in Bengal history. Bengal's FO has major work to do on defensive side of the ball. I say tag and trade Tee Higgins in 2025 to start with the rebuild.

If I did miss it, a thousand pardons.  Cool

I'll start it off:

A lot of buzz has surfaced about Al Golden (ex-Bengals linebacker coach) and Dennis Allen (ex-Saints coach).

What say you, brothers in Bengals Nation?   Ninja

Well boys, I guess the ol' uncanny instincts paid off. Al is THE man. I thought I was on target, but with this group, you NEVER know.

Now that the die has been cast, I guess the next question is, will this bode well?
