Will Hernandez back with Arizona. Bummer. But sounds like he wanted to stay & they wanted him back.

From last game and practice:
S PJ Jules is higher on the ladder than I had him. Might be making a run at Anthony or Anderson for a backup S role. Charlie Jones is clearly WR4 ahead of Burton. QB2 may be a battle. OL depth is iffy. Rivers struggling at OT.

No signings or cuts, just a change to my projected 53. WR6 I. Williams off (to PS), replaced by OT4 Devin Cochran.
Williams did not have a good game receiving, and with Rivers now gettingvlooks at G, and notclooking good at OT, we may need another straight OT. Cochran graded out well. Roster spots for Browning & Burton are now shakier. C. Jones clearly WR4. McLaughlin gettingvreps could push Lee. Roster spots for Anderson & Anthony also shaky. PJ Jules pushing both. Now projecting PJ to the PS. ---------------------- II. Current Projected Roster: Signed/Draft = 53 Italics denotes a player with a zero dead cap hit. Offense = 25 QB (2): Burrow; Browning RB (3): C. Well, I had hoped to do a projected roster update after Game 2 of pre-season that included a signing at RG, but alas, no Risner signing yet.
Not many changes post-Washington. The obvious one is Tinsley making my squad. For me, it is at Burton's expense. Though I think the team will most likely sacrifice TE5 (Grandy) instead. I think the rest is fairly straightforward except for how many/how to allocate the OL/DL spots and whomover wins the LB5 battle. Injuries to Volson & Patrick on the OL & C. Johnson on the D-Line certainly play a part. The starters on D were particularly bad, especially Knight, Battle, & Slaton. Though each is still in my 53, maybe not as starters (Carter for Knight). Charlie Jones was good again and appears to be WR4. I. Williams continued to have issues catching the ball but looked good on specials. RB Milton and DT/NT Gregory force their way onto my PS. Which does include Burton. Whom I try to trade for S/DL/OL/CB help. I thought all the LB5 candidates played well. Coker had a better game than Kirkland. Toughest/Most questionable decisions on the 53: TE5 Grandy over WR6 Burton Heyward over Njongmeta/Giles-Harris as LB5 C. Johnson (DE6) over Bryan (DT5) for DL10 Volson/Lee/Cochran over McLaughlin for the last OL spot. Not cutting Battle outright. ---------------------- II. We should know more about their injury status going forward. If we IR'd Volson right now, he'd be out all year. I am a bit cloudier on the rules for PUP, but I believe Volson is ineligible as he has participated in camp. All is the only guy in the 90 who is PUP eligible. Maybe Hendrickson? I have no idea how long Cochran or Lee may be out. But if McLaughlin looks good, I could see us not wanting to risk cutting him. If Risner is signed, I think Volson is cut and Patrick is you swing G backup and can cover C as well if McLaughlin needs more time. Cam Sample has not looked great coming off injury. I couid see his spot or C. Johnson's getting taken by R. Johnson or snother DT/NT type (Bryan, Cross, Gregory).
