2 of those playoff games were against the Bengals who were the least penalized teams those years but magically they became penalty magnets in Arrowhead

The team in red is the Bengals

It's not just the penalties, but the uncanny timeliness of them that always seems to happen when the Chiefs need bailed out of a dire situation.

Makes you wonder, with all the attention being paid to this, if the referees will go the other way to prove their lack of bias, in the game against the Bills this weekend

Great factual info Pally.

But Mahomes said there is no bias, refs have a hard job. Ninja

2024 may go on record as one of most underperforming teams in Bengal history. Bengal's FO has major work to do on defensive side of the ball. I say tag and trade Tee Higgins in 2025 to start with the rebuild.

Never forget the time the Chiefs got 5 plays to get a first down. Good times.

Torbert is reffing the SB.

Is it still a conspiracy?

Yes sir!  I was watching the last Chiefs game and just called it 3rd and flag when they were on offense.  Call after call that directly led to points that were so blatantly bad.
Chief fans can call it what they want but I see it with my own eyes,  Pitt used to get the same calls a lot against Cincinnati.
It is hard to watch when the refs are steering results.

The old "believe what I say, not what you see" trick.  It is becoming normal these days.

One of the most ridiculous refs situations I've ever seen. Tie score (20-20) in the 4th quarter. Bengals stop Chiefs on 3rd and 9. KC's punt team goes out on the field, Bengals return team is out, the ball is just about to be snapped for the punt and refs stop the game and decide they have to do the 3rd and 9 again.

Bengals seem to stop the Chiefs yet again on 3rd and 9 with a sack. And then a flag and it's a holding call on the Bengals and a first down for the Chiefs.

It's one of those situations where if it's Cincinnati or Buffalo, the two smallest fan bases in the NFL, nobody really cares. But, when larger market teams start getting jobbed in the same fashion, it generates a lot more push back on a much larger scale.

I hate to say it, but if you're going to have to eat the penalty, you might as well get the lick in.  Anytime you get a shot at Patty, you make him feel it.  You might as well get what you pay for.

You might be on to something here. If it looks like you may have touched him it gets flagged, even when he is out of pocket, especially if it saves the Chiefs from punting.
Might as well nail him and eat the fine.

I couldn't watch all the Chiefs game last week, it is just horrible being a fan and thinking "this game is obviously rigged".

I don't care how many total penalties they had against them - they get bailed out with phantom penalties on 3rd down way too often.

Thankfully, the Burrow effect may help us.  The media seems absolutely enamored by Joe and rightfully so.  The Bengals are becoming a well-known team and Burrow/Chase creates lots of excitement!

But YES, it has been  rough 22 years for me watching the Bengals seemingly always get the short end of the stick.

In my opinion since it's obvious the Chiefs are rigged to get to the AFC-C, the Bills were also rigged to be their opponent. Could see it from the first game. NFL is fooling a lot of people. Now what happens after this who knows, I think Bills have greater than a 50% chance of winning, they're the Chiefs only loss.

They can't let Allen's story just disappear in Mahomes winning 100 rings, they will have Allen put a stop to it and either lose in the SB like the rest of the Bills teams or win their first one, giving him a ring before Burrow, somehow.

NFL only cares about money, like most businesses. Chiefs were helped to this position this year with Mahomes average ass play and timely ref calls. IF the NFL thinks the majority of NFL fans want to see Mahomes 3 peat they need new psychologists. They have this rigged for Allen to win IMO, hopefully I'm right lol.
