The "oops we messed up" stuff is more annoyance than vindication.

X2 for me, it's just absurd how they've adopted this after game fine system. And it's mainly because the reffing on the field is a total joke way to often.

I hate that the Chiefs get preferential treatment. And I hate the Chiefs fans (many of them bandwagoners) who defend it even more. It is like, you are looking right at an overt instance of holding by the Chiefs offensive line and suddenly there fans turn into legal experts who want to deep dive into what a rip move is. They seem like the same sort of people that would claim the didn't strike someone but rather that the victim ran their face into that person's fist. It is ridiculous.

I agree, but the same can be said of teams playing the Chiefs, complaining about every little slight, of holding penalty that is let go in every other game in the NFL.

Do the Chiefs get calls other teams do not?

Yes.

Do they get lambasted for the refs ignoring penalties that are ignored by the rest of NFK refs?

Yes.

They do get favorable calls, like all the powerhouses in sports do. Like NJ with the Bulls, Brady with the Pats, and LeBron with whatever team he bandwagons onto. Favorites teams get preferential treatment, it is nothing new.

Fix the IOL, improve the defense, and keep the game out of the refs hands.

Yeah...that was BS.  Thankfully it didn't result in any points I don't believe

They (the refs) did it again today. Just enough.

Clutch spot by the refs on that 4th down to give the Chiefs the ball. Couldn't do it without ya!

Yes, but Mahomes is also really clutch. 5 Super Bowls in 6 years? Only the Bengals stopped them?  That is remarkable.  Always drafting very late and yet consistently in the Super Bowl. Honestly, I feel lucky to be a fan who has been able to watch both Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes. Just consistent excellence when it comes to the games that count.

The Chiefs probably got a break with the spotting of a fourth-down try by Buffalo but it was close and the Chiefs somehow stopped that tush push a number of times in the game, including twice on two-point conversions.

I feel no disappointment about Mahomes and Andy Reid going to yet another Super Bowl. Mahomes is a nice guy (and note his first words were to give praise to God) and the Chiefs have a very well-run organization. I wish the Bengals could emulate them.

An interesting side note is that the Bills traded the 10th pick to KC that allowed KC to draft Mahomes. I often think how the Bengals drafted John Ross one pick before Mahomes, but the Bills literally made the trade that brought KC Mahomes, who has been the Bills' playoff kryptonite.
