yep that was my point exactly J24. edit. nope it wasn't my point. we HAVE the generational QB. and you don't need a super team to beat him you need a sound team. an average defense like we had a few years ago beats him b/c we can put up the points.

Stopped Barkley and still got wrecked. Kind of scary.

We at least we were winning/keeping it neck and neck for 3 quarters, then something fell apart and we crumbled as a result. I think if given a second crack at the Eagles, we may not have won, but I definitely think it isn't as lopsided as our first game ended up.

Maybe, though I think Lou and Vic did something similar to beat Mahomes. They didn't blitz. Instead they rushed 4 (well in Lou's case he rushed 3 a few times) and still got pressure. 

Not saying Lou didn't need to go, but the recipe for beating Mahomes seems to be having a talented defense and to design plays for them that are effective without blitzing.

Looking at who got sacks in this Super Bowl, mostly it is 3rd and 4th rounders. I mention this just to restate what I think we all know, which is that there is talent to be found in the mid-rounds.
