Germaine Pratt & a 4th or some kinda pick swap for Jordan Davis... Then sign Josh Sweat in Free Agency lol.
That would fix a lot of things wrong with the defense, in a hurry.
Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

Milano is a damn good player, always liked him, he was banged up big time last year.
Christian Benford was the guy who went into the Chiefs game coming off concussion and there was some talk that the Bills were kind of circumventing the protocols. He got re-concussed early and went out for the game. He's one of their starting CBs and wears #47.
Terrel Bernard is #43 and he is one of their starting LBs. He played and graded well in the Chiefs game but for the year his overall was pretty bad. 48.2
That's a 15+ pt drop from the previous two years and his coverage grade for this year was bad bad. 37.7

For linebackers that played 50% or more of max snaps, Pratt ranked 37th out of 53 that qualified with a 12.2 miss percentage.

Thanks Rfaulk, Benford was the player I was thinking of and yes, that concussion looked bad was not a good look for the Bills.
Guess Benford doesn't fit what we need with hopefully us bringing Hilton back and our Corners getting healthy again. I mixed up Bernard and
Benford obviously.

Would love these moves.

Bengals trade: Germaine Pratt- cap hit of 5.8
Colts trade: 7th rd pick #234 cap hit of 867k
or
swap 6th rd picks #191(colts) for our #195 marginal cap hit, by moving up 4 spots.
-The cap savings allows us to add that into adding to our cap space as well as getting younger/faster on Defense at the LB position
Sounds realistic as well.

Dude was everywhere in a couple games late last season tackling like a beast, good coverage and even on some pass rushing snaps.
We might have a diamond in the rough with Shaka Heyward.

Pratt has been solid with the bengals... those of you who are dissing him are gettin your panties in a bunch. He's kept the LB position solid thanks to him.

I agree he's had a good career, but I'm okay with having panties in a bunch because he didn't play great last year. I think it's time to move on from him.

He was solid the Super Bowl and following year. Neither Pratt nor Logan Wilson have been the same since and I am about the biggest Logan
fan there is. Hopefully bringing in Golden who they were much better under and Hodges the new LB coach will help. Pratt does not deserve
our thanks for keeping the LB position solid. Solid is a player that can tackle and is not a liability in too many areas ala BJ Hill or Mike Hilton.
Germaine Pratt has not been solid the last couple of years at all.

they are allowed a down ride in their roller coaster career, if he fails next season, I would be OK to move forward, 1 mediocre season doesnt mean they are done..unbunch those panties until next seaon

There is no way Philly trades Davis for Pratt.
Pratt can request a trade all he wants. But he IS under contract.
Our backups are thin, to say the least. Until we have a replacement/upgrade lined up, he should stay.
But he isn't a 3 down guy. If he cannot deal with thet, tough.

Don't have no panties to unbunch lol
We won't have no Pratt to complain about missing Tackles next season either which is nice after this trade request.

The way the outside world sees Pratt
Well if a beat reporter for the 4 win Patriots thinks they should trade for him if the price is cheap enough then he MUST be pretty good.

Considering that one of those wins was against us, I would probably pipe it down just a little. If they're pathetic for only winning four games then what are the Bengals since they lost to the four win team? Ain't that a sticky wicket!

A Zac Taylor coached team in September.

Yes, and I believe that our board brethren have written volumes on that very topic. Thus far, Zac's teams are the absolute picture of the phrase "that game you lose early in the year could cost you later...".

No doubt, it is something ZT needs to fix immediately. He has to have the team ready by week #1 with confidence they will be able to be as good late in the year also.
Please use 2025 free agency to fix the trenches, not the draft!!!!!!!!

Our LB’s are solid. They’re a liability. Wilson had a good year 2 years ago. Last year he was on the worst defense in the nfl and didn’t stand out. The only defensive player worth their pay check was Hendrickson and BJ Hill.

We're heading into year 7. Immediately was quite some time ago.
