Uneasy feelings are par for the course being a Bengals fan.
I've got an uneasy feeling...

Why would Tee want to sign an incentive laden contract here for much less money (because lets be realistic, 6 straight years with a hamstring injury plus an ankle injury in 3 of the last 4 years) if there's a potential bidding war from people who won't require all the incentives due to desperation? ____________________________________________________________

Agreed, Tee is for all intents and purposes the most "valuable" player in free agency this year. It's clear that the Bengals cannot in a practical way for the benefit of the team afford to pay him his "max attainable value". Either let the dude walk or work out a suitable trade partner and tag and trade him. ![]() Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations -Frank Booth 1/9/23

Great question. Tag him and trade him then. We cannot afford to pay him 26+ mil a year and get all our other holes filled. It would have to be an incentive laden contract with Tee. Tag and trade Tee, extend Ja'Marr, Trey and Mike G while solidifying the trenches. ![]()

If we could tag and trade Tee for some type of deal that would return an impact tackle like Simmons or Lawrence, that would be best case scenario at this point.

It would. As much as we all love Tee we have to think of what is best for the team. Tee made it hard for me last year though. I was wanting to move on before last season but I was seriously impressed by how well he played last year when he did play. Was clutch with great hands and shown his talent off big time. No surprise to me he is the top FA this year if we don't tag him. Tagging him is imperative because of this. Might actually get some real value for him because of it this year. |
