Higgins, when suited up, is a #1 NFL WR, and the bengals have been lucky to have him.
The issue is, he rarely misses time due to in-game injuries. I am not sure there are more than 1-2 times in his career where he misses game due to an injury on the game field. He routinely gets injured in practice. Seemingly out of nowhere, and then it drags for weeks. When you walk into a Tuesday, you need to know who you can count on for the subsequent sunday game. Tee is an absolute wild card.

How often do Duke and Mike just go rogue because they've got "a good feeling" about some player? Mike Brown keeps coming up in these draft and FA conversations. I just don't see MB studying FA or draft prospects at his age. To provide input, you need knowlwdge and maybe I am wrong, but I think the decision makersc for player asqusitions are Duke, Pete Brown, Katie, Todd and Zac. I think Katie plays a bigger role in the final decision especially in FA than many want to believe. ![]() Please use 2025 free agency to fix the trenches, not the draft!!!!!!!!

Their scouting department is not very good. You cant expect your OC and DC to coach the players all week, get a gameplan together for all the teams, go through an entire NFL season then say to them by the way we need you watch all these college kids throughout the season, watch film on them and tell us which guys we should pick. That is asking way too much of your coaching staff when a real NFL scouting department should be performing most of that.

He is teasing us though…his team is on their 13th straight shut out. He posted a photo a a house for sale in Mt Adams with the caption “I never thought it would get this far. Not saying I'd hate it, but it would be something to process.

The fact that Watt is playing along with all of this, the Bengals should be on the phone talking to his agent seeing if Watt would be interested in making a return to football.

As for JJ Watt, why not bring him in for a workout and interview? The question is this: “Is JJ Watt an upgrade from Sam Hubbard?” ![]()

Plus he throws shade to the Bengals a lot. He really likes Burrow though of course and I don't dislike JJ as much as his bro but that ain't saying much. Everybody with a brain likes Joe and Twatt is about the player I dislike the most in the NFL now a days. He would be an upgrade over Sam though pretty sure so I am not against it. He is in damn good shape, not football shape at this point pretty sure but he could get there if we brought him in early enough.

Before everyone tells me he has been injured a lot, I know he's been injured a lot. But, with the right contract structured with incentives I would love for the Bengals to pick up Jaire Alexander from the Packers. They want to trade him. If he's healthy, he would be a big boost to our CB room. Loved watching this kid play here in Louisville.
