I hate this organization, this franchise is not serious.

We’re such stupid people for being fans of this franchise.

Oh FFS, last few weeks there have been all kinds of conversations about trading Trey, now they give him permission to seek a trade and fans are stupid. Cincinnati fans are bipolar to the extreme.

To be honest I'm reconsidering my fandom...It's clear as day Burrow and Chase will finish their careers elsewhere too...

Wonder if an NFC team be willing to part with a late 1st.

It's going to be all about the return and knowing the Bengals we don't lose the trades that we make once a decade.

Pretty stupid.....I get that he's older, but pretty stupid nonetheless.

That's a fair point too.... I'd rather him go to the NFC than have to face him for sure.

Apparently they are working on extensions for Tee and Ja'Marr...

Can't wait to watch the defense give up 80 points a game

Agree or disagree, At least it’s movement.

Watch him find out that he doesn’t get more than $32-33m from another team and then re-sign with the bengals. Haha.

Not sure why this is so stupid or surprising. Who realistically thinks you can keep Chase, Higgins, and Hendrickson all at the same time? Something has to give. Also seems to be giving Trey some well deserved respect in letting him have more control of the process.

Don't worry. Defense was garbage with him, they can still be garbage without him.

He won’t get Crosby money, especially if draft capital has to be sacrificed to acquire him. But he’ll make some money.

I actually see this as a great thing. Lets consider the alternative:

We let him play out his last year of his contract, hes signs elsewhere and we get…. Well nothing in return.

Which is what we have a history of doing.

Now… we at least a day 2 pick for him, or i think we should

I won't speak for others, but he's the whole pass rush, lol. That's why I personally think it's stupid. That being said, I see the other points and they're valid, I just hope they have a really good plan. You can't blame longtime fans for being leery of any plan though. A lot of those plans have blown up epically in their face. I do like that they are giving him the respect he deserves. I guess I'm torn on keeping Tee over him. We'll just have to see how it all plays out.

It's stupid because in that scenario you keep the two 1st Team All-Pros and you let the other guy go.

Once Hendrickson is gone, we will have just 7.0 sacks left on our team.

Yep. This allows Trey and his agent to explore his market.

.... it would also leave a massive hole in the roster called the ENTIRE DEFENSIVE LINE. Ugh only the Bengals.

He's better than Crosby, he was literally the NFL sack leader

He’s also 3 years older.

I mean, that's the move I would make.
