Let's hope the revolving TE door is closed for awhile since it's a multi-year deal.

Well Mike is more of a versatile alignment WR. They still need that guy to fill Erick All's role as rhe H-Back/Y-TE.

It should be a team friendly cap deal. It sounds like they gave him a big signing bonus. Hopefullt guarantee is around 50% of contract.

TE Mike Gesicki is signing a three-year deal worth $25.5 million to remain with the Bengals, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported.

If he is getting 12 million in year one, almost entire guarantee would be paid in year 1.

Please use 2025 free agency to fix the trenches, not the draft!!!!!!!!

Seems about right. Glad it’s done. He was coming on down the stretch. This will be the first time burrow had his tight end for back to back seasons. There has to be value in the continuity.

That’s way more than I thought he’d get. I wanted him back but the Chase deal better be done.

Even if it’s 1 year for 12m that’s double what he made last year. I wonder if he had a market…

Was there really a need to re-sign Hudson? Who brings the same skill set.

It is good news, as that has been what Burrow has been missing since Boyd left.

Why didn't they just pay Tyler Boyd?

I agree with everyone asking when will they address TE long-term.

Now that Gesicki is signed, it makes Tee more tradable.

I think losing Gesicki and Tee was frightening. Burton sure has screwed up things. But I think Gesicki and Burrow are just scratching the surface of chemistry. They may be going with Ford, Kirkland, Volson, and a high draft pick at guard. I’m beginning to think the first pick will be a DE and DT in FA & the first pick if they lose Trey. I think they are moving toward heavy FA & Drafting for the defense.
Romo “ so impressed with Zac ...1 of the best in the NFL… they are just fundamentally sound. Taylor the best winning % in the Playoffs of current coaches. Joe Burrow” Zac is the best head coach in the NFL & that gives me a lot of confidence." Taylor led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, en and appeared in Super Bowl LVI, the first since 1988.

He was 10th in yards, 9th in receptions.

It’s tied for 14th in AAV at TE.

Hayden hurst signed a 3 year 21.75m, two years ago. With cap adjustments is similar to that.

What did you think he was worth?

1 year 8-9 million. His career wasn’t necessarily trending up when we signed him. Plus his age. And not knowing if they need more money for these extensions….

This may mean Tee is gone.

If not I get back of the roster guys signing that won’t make it out of camp but extending Mike for 3 years before Hill or Hilton if you are talking priorityish free agents is surprising.
