Happy Tampering Day

You can follow any source you want so the quality of your feed is dependent on the quality of the sources you follow. Not to mention they have comment sections and unbiased fact checking. Elon’s motto is ‘best idea wins’. Allow free speech and let the people talk it out. Whoever’s right will become obvious as the best ideas and most accurate sources win.

The fact that you think Elon Musk employs unbiased fact checkers is hilarious.

And highlights are not every play.

Rankins was actually a good pass rusher though in 2023 according to PFF 76 pass rush grade, 40 pressures, 14.9 pass rush win rate, and a 21.2 pass rush win rate in pass situations.

Jessie Bates left the Bengals and that makes me sad!

Anyone can post a comment on a post and fact checking anything.

Contrast that with any news source online or on TV.

Would like to see a guard signed as well.

Need to beef up.

All for bringing back Ossai. Guard is of the biggest need now for sure. Bring in a couple. Fries and Daniels and I am happy.

Then get Ja'Marr's deal done.

Not sure if it was mentioned earlier, but Josh Sweat went to the Cardinals for 4yr/$76.4m ($19.1m/yr). That's actually extremely reasonable for this market, under $20m/yr. Makes it even more of a letdown that the Bengals weren't in on him.

Yeah, wanted Sweat for that amount. Dang it all. Mellow

With the DTs they signed and Perine, I'm expecting ~$20 mill of the cap will be eaten up.
I have to think Moss will be cut now that Perine's back.

Doesn't leave much room though for both Fries and Daniels. Maybe one of them and Ossai, then onto the draft.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. Ended 9-8 but barely missed playoffs

Changes needed to do better in Sept/Oct moving forward.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

Samaje was cheap. But yeah, cut Moss to free up some more to go after a Guard and bring back Ossai who was our second best pass rusher
last year. Pass rushers are still needed even if Trey is back which I think he will be. Expecting us to add a 3-tech and an EDGE in this Draft.

I feel much better about stopping the run now that we brought back BJ and brought in Slaton which is a relief.

If they can re-sign Trey and Ossai, and draft a good edge and DT, the defense will be much better. They need to be able to stop the run and pass rush.

I’m still not giving up on the secondary if they stay healthy. But they could use a good starter to unseat CTB. Hopefully they can do that with in house players developing or hitting on a draft pick because it doesn’t look like they have the cap space to sign a legit high priced starter.

I still think we need at least 1 guard for Burrow. You can't go into the season thinking Volson and Ford are your starters. Relying on the draft and a rookie isn't the best idea either. Hoping we sign a guard and someone above average. It does no good to sign a "value" guy.

Actually not against a Corner early either if a great one is there. We saw how a 1st round Corner helped the Eagles in year one.

But I haven't heard about any Corners being of value at 17. The big Safety Emmanwori is the only Secondary player being mentioned with us.

But yeah, pass rush and Guard are the priorities now. Stopping the run has been addressed.

For damn sure we need at least 1 Guard to replace Cappa, preferably 2 to also replace Volson. Ford is no starter.

I always wonder if maybe the Bengals were in on a player, but the player/agent had no interest in the Bengals way of doing business.

Eagles are trading QB Keny Pickett to the Browns.  Eagles get Dorian Thompson-Robinson and a 5th round pick

All hopes turn to next year

I think there is a lot of truth to that.  The free agent market is a two way street.   A team can make a free agent an offer but can't force them to sign it.  If the free agent prefers one team over another for whatever reason then that can certainly sway the decision.

They didn't have a chance because they still don't have things settled with Trey yet.

I believe both guys are RGs. As are Zeitler & Becton. Jenkins has LG snaps.

Yeah. That aligns more closely with ESPN than PFF. Though I never saw his run D grade broken out from overall.

I think Daniels has played LG before, but you could be right. Tevin Jenkins and one of Fries or Daniels would be awesome.
