Seriously. This is beyond unacceptable. This franchise is A walking clown show. Not only do we STILL not have one of the big 3 signed, we have not improved the team one bit in free agency. A team with a top 2 qb who missed the playoffs last year. Watching as quality contributors get signed one by one to reasonable deals while we sit on our hands. I am done spending anything on this team. I hope many of you will join me. They do not deserve our financial support. If they don't want to get with the times and do what is necessary to compete than they need to sell the ******* team!

Last I looked. Trey, Tee, and Chase are still on our team. And over the last few days we have filled out the rest of the roster. On paper we have a 53 man roster that can win in the NFL right now.
So I’m not boycotting anything.
Teams that usually “win” free agency often suck.

The most consequential offseason in the Burrow era acknowledged by all including the FO (Tobin).
A disaster that will close any championship window.

Losing ADG is the only bad thing I’ve seen thus far. Not sure what’s pushed you over the edge there, especially considering that filling out the remainder of the roster is absolutely necessary before determining if there needs to be any talks with the Bank of Joe regarding the WRs or DE1.

They haven't had a terrible offseason. They just didn't add any guys that move the needle. And the defense desperately needs more pass rushing and play making.
We've see what will happen. They'll wait for Guards to sign huge deals, then they'll swoop in and add one who's left.

We won’t listen this offseason when told having disgruntled stars won’t affect the season. All of our stars hate it here.
Burrow included after this last month likely.
Tomlin said he wanted volunteers not hostages. We have hostages. Last offseason folks spinned what it would mean. Their credibility is shot.

Except the superbowl winning team that landed Barkley in free agency. But yeah, usually...
Hopefully this team does something other than waste Burrow's and our time. We are coming off a healthy MVP Burrow year where we missed the playoffs. Same team won't cut it.

Not deep enough to drown some people’s sorrows obviously.

Yep. This isn't some great roster that needs role players. It's a mediocre roster with 4 or 5 stars. It needs to add to the top end, not middle or lower.

It's going to come down to the draft this year.
If they re-sign Chase and Trey and either re-sign or keep Higgins on the tag, they simply couldn't afford a high priced FA this year.
Their success depends on the draft this year and recent draft picks--specifically in the secondary--playing well.
It's anyone's guess how that will play out.

They do have the money. They refuse to change how they do contracts. Always wanting to give big cap hits early makes sense when you want to sell worrying about the future. But the future is right now pack the roster now especially with the holes that we have. We have too many holes to fill in the draft especially when you have 6 picks. We want to add to the pass rush find starters for the oline and possibly starters in the secondary and linebacker? We are smoking crack if we think we are achieving this all in the draft. Start signing some guards right now then maybe you'll be able to accomplish those other things in the draft.
I'm not giving up on the Bengals but I'm with the OP this just isn't good enough. The standard is not to be competitive. The standard is win the championship and our FO is not acting like that is they're standard.

Yeah the pressure is on for sure.
There were corners they passed on in the draft I would have liked that ended up doing well this year.
A lot of misses in the draft--and if you've seen my posts I've been highly critical of their recent drafting.
"They have to knock the draft out of the park to propel them to a Championship like the Chiefs just did".
I said that after the Chiefs beat us in the AFC Championship game.
I said it the following year. I said it this year as well.

I'm excited about Bengals 2025. You can leave, and don't let the door hit you where the good Lord split you.

Break it down in terms of cap space and how Chase's over $40 mil per year deal and Trey's fit into the cap space they have so I can understand it better.
Otherwise I really have no clue how to respond.

"Crime in Italy" folks...calm down. I'm waiting until after the draft to see what our team looks like. Let's see what the F.O. ends up doing.

A lot of our DL is on rookie contracts. Same as our secondary.
Same guys got hot at the end of the year and went on a nice little win streak.
This wasn’t a rebuild. We kept the core intact and continue to add. Had we figured out how to win just one of those winnable games at the beginning of the year last year we are talking about another playoff appearance.
Hubbard and Cappa no longer here is probably going to be an addition by subtraction deal.
The sky is not falling.
