OP needs to realize that players in demand fielding offers.
Romo “ so impressed with Zac ...1 of the best in the NFL… they are just fundamentally sound. Taylor the best winning % in the Playoffs of current coaches. Joe Burrow” Zac is the best head coach in the NFL & that gives me a lot of confidence." Taylor led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, en and appeared in Super Bowl LVI, the first since 1988.

We could deal with one of the old Geezers, but not both. They need a guy with a few miles left on the tread. I'm hoping that the interest in Tevin Jenkins is real. Then, if the Bengals sign either of the old farts, they can call it a day on OL. Actually, I'm hoping it plays out and we get Scherff, so that he can be a mentor to Volson.

We did change coaches. I'm not totally negative at the moment.
Fired Coaches:
Defensive Coordinator Lou Anarumo
Offensive Line Coach Frank Pollack
Defensive Line Coach Marion Hobby
Linebackers Coach James Bettcher

To be fair people, I never said give up your fandom. I said stop financial supporting them. Why should we pay our hard earned money on tickets, merch and the like for an organization that clearly values “winning” negotiations more than winning football games? The BARE minimum this offseason was locking up these core guys. Thus far all they’ve done is blow hot air and dig their heels in more while the price continues to go up. It’s a showcase in what NOT to do when managing a football team with a generational QB. U think Joe is okay with this clown show? No. So I’m not spending another dime until something changes and I wish more would. That’s the only way we will ever get through to them. The capper is they have the nerve to also ask for more money to upgrade the stadium. Tha audacity. F the Brown family.

Some of us lived through the 90s and early 2000s of complete garbage, so this is nothing.
Do I wish we had made moves? Yes, obviously, but we're taking care of our big three and it's not over yet, so I'm holding out hope.
There's still some guards in free agency that we could sign- Zeitler is 35 but still good, so could be a short-term fix, Scherff, Jenkins, Becton- and more are bound to be cut at some point.
I wish we would have been active, but it's only the legal tampering period, and I think we just need guards an an upgraded secondary, so I'm not panicking yet, especially with the draft still ahead.
Don't come back in a few weeks, months, or even during the season if you're saying you're jumping ship.

If anyone is sad about what the Bengals are doing in free agency, they should check in with the Browns fans. They are not well right now. My son sent me a message happy that the Browns signed a Tackle. I looked the guy up; It's Cornelius Lucas, a career backup whose started 54 games in 11 years. My son says, they likely signed him to play opposite of Dawand Jones. I said, not so fast, they signed that Geezer as insurance for the next time Jones goes down. Son says, well we still have Jed off the bench. Again, not so fast, Wills is a UFA, I believe Lucas was signed to take Wills' spot. After that, completely ghosted by my son.

As the folks at Locked On Bengals said, they added a couple floor-raisers, but no game changers.
Slaton should be an improvement for the run game, but their pass rush isn't improved at all.
Oren Burks is probably an upgrade over ADG for depth LB.
Perine just a role player.
With the players remaining, there aren't many left that can move the needle pass rush wise.
The Bengals are expected to be sitting at around $15-20 mill cap remaining if the BJ Hill and Slaton contracts end up being close to their APYs.
Bengals will reserve $5-10 mill for injuries+extensions.
So realistically, they should have the ability to add 1-2 more B-to-C tier guys to fill out their roster heading into the draft, primarily one OG.
What I would do:
Cut Zack Moss to free up ~$3 mill. With Perine back, Moss is very expendable.
Sign two starting caliber guards. Based on pass blocking metrics, two of the best options remaining that could potentially fit in their budget could be Teven Jenkins and Dalton Risner/Will Hernandez. Risner and Hernandez if trying to be the most budget-friendly.
All three have played both OG spots and played overall solid or better, so can't really go wrong with any of the three.
Draft a DE and DT to add some juice in the pass rush. I would prioritize DE now earlier in the draft with Hendrickson and Ossai being the best pass rushers at those spots and both in contract years.
I'd also look to draft an IOL, versatile TE, DB, and maybe another RB.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. Ended 9-8 but barely missed playoffs
Changes needed to do better in Sept/Oct moving forward.
Sorry for Party Rocking!

Not yet bro but if we horde this cap space in there
We didn’t even participate today
We absolutely HAVE TO BE working on Tee and Trey
But damn are we the only team that has to focus on 2 dudes so hard?

Burrow included after this last month likely.
Tomlin said he wanted volunteers not hostages. We have hostages. Last offseason folks slimmed what it would mean. Their credibility is shot.

After negotiating this long with the 3, bot sides likely know where the others at. It's just can they bridge that gap?

idk why im responding to this, but I will
if burrow quits and pulls a palmer, I will take a step back with my fandom.
if I was a colts fan, I wouldve taken a big step back after they ruined Andrew Luck. It's really unacceptable

Dude, if you want to stop supporting the team, man up and do it. You don't need to rally everyone to go with you. Start your boycott right now. Just don't try to make others go with you, you can do it all by yourself.

What kind of monetary value do you contribute on a yearly basis? This screams of some political movement, where the people that are unaffected or don’t contribute are trying to lead the charge.
I enjoy going to bengals games, with friends and family. Obviously I want them to win, always. I think you are underestimating how much a new DC can influence a turnaround. Honestly, I trust Z Taylor on the hire. If it doesn’t work out, he is likely gone in 2-3 years.

Can’t cut moss… yet. Would require an injury settlement. It will come.

We went 8-9 and missed the playoffs, so bringing the band back together doesn't really do much. Where are the moves that are impactful enough to get us in the playoffs, let alone have a real shot at the Super Bowl?
Oren Burke -> ADG - No tangible upgrade if an upgrade at all
Samaje Perine -> Zach Moss - No tangible upgrade if an upgrade at all
Slayton -> Rankings - This is an improvement, but if you think Slayton is going to have the type of impact on the defense that we need, you'll convince yourself of anything and it's not worth continuing a conversation
