Listen up, we've had enough of BOTH of your shit. The message board, dating all the way back to the Mother Ship days has always been a place for ALL Bengal fans to freely express their thoughts and opinions on all things Bengals. Lately the banter between the extremely positive outlook fans and the negative outlook fans has become rather volatile. It needs to end.
If you cannot communicate in a fashion that is cordial and polite, then simply choose not to communicate. If the personal attacks, name calling and harsh rhetoric continue, then disciplinary sanctions are going to start happening. That is all.
Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

Yeah, it's easy to be cute about the situation, but these are actual Bengal fans. When these "disagreements" devolve into outright violations of the CoC, the staff is left with little choice in the matter. The point is that we DON'T want to sanction JN regulars for differences of opinon and we are ASKING for the rhetoric between differing parties to be toned down a notch or two.

I'm a mod on another forum and it's certainly a fine balance on when we should step in. I do think making things personal is where we should draw the line. There are ways to articulate your point without getting nasty.

I’ve been both positive and negative, mainly negative this offseason for what I believe to be just reasons…..but I have not and will not get personal. No room for that.
Sounds good, but I must be missing stuff. When a post blows up with 17 pages in one day, i don't read it because I know there's nothing of value in there. But I have no doubt it's a problem.
I mean i get going after people for politics and religion (which is why I no longer participate there), but we're all on the same side her as fans, thus the personal attacks are strange to me.

Part of me can't figure out if they are troll accounts or authentic. Just weird characters.
I know I most certainly had a role in this by suggesting that some of the Positive pollys just want this team to fail; and for that, I apologize. I love the team but try to stay grounded and I won't ever be afraid to let people know when a player or decision is "assberries".
That said, there's a baseline level of respect that everyone--myself included--can give to others when we're expressing our Fellings. I'll do my best to do that moving forward.
All I ask is for the same courtesy. If you find yourself unable to do that or question my authenticity as a fan, just don't engage. I promise I won't be mad at you or come to your house.....unless you're testing the limitations of my medication.

My man, the people in JN are way nastier to each other than it ever gets in PnR.
