Internet has NFL sources with Zac Moss rumor. Bengals my cut RB-Zac Moss and have cap money for defense including Hendrickson. NFL rumor says with Chase Brown, Perrine back and other RB's on Bengals, they could dump what they are paying Zac Moss who hasn't panned out in Cincinnati to this point. I repeat, it's a rumor only by NFL sources, but it makes sense if dumping Moss frees up cap space. Now the rookie Stewart already not with rookies hurts his skills, but the veteran Hendrickson could miss much of camp and be OK start of season, because he knows the system and is a Pro Bowl Veteran.

I am not sure if we really gain anything cutting Moss prior to end of TC. We have plenty of cap space to extend Trey and sign Shemur.
Please use 2025 free agency to fix the trenches, not the draft!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I am usually called a homer but he goes over the top backing every single thing the FO does without question.
You cannot be a true Bengals fan without questioning the true intent to win a Super Bowl. We have been right there 3 times and it hurts.
Some guys are like 75+ years old that have been fans that I have talked to on the old board and this one and just want a SB before they die.
Many have died already, we need this. We should NEVER be content with being just good.

I don't think anyone is content with just being good and that includes our FO, players, coaches or fans. We just have a different opinion on the effort to get there in my opinion. I applaud us giving huge contracts to Joe and Chase in recent past. Others feel FO gets no credit. Some like me try and see both sides on spending money, others have long decided Bengals FO is cheap and nothing the FO can do to change their opinion.
I would also say few in here can agree on players in the FA andthe draft we should go after. My point being is we like to complain, but rarely come to a consensus on building the roster, just say general things like we don't go all in or we should have not signed Tee as a priority over Trey. Some want it all, sign Chase, sign Tee and extend Trey. It may happen, but if it does I will call it now, people will complain we should have done it sooner.
Just my 2 cents, I am more of an optimist and feel we have a shot at greatness with Burrow every TC. Others have written our season off. Different strokes for different folks does not make one side a better fan than the other.

Cannot really disagree Luvnit. Personally I thought we would lose one of Trey or Tee this Offseason. We haven't, we extended Tee with a
great incentive laden contract. I think this was an underrated contract by the FO on here. Trey will be a Bengal regardless this season as he
has no leverage except to sit out and screw himself and the team.
I just want Trey somewhat happy or hungry going into this season as he is our only great pass rusher to note.

There is nothing to question at this point in time..we will know in a couple of months whether the decisions made in the offseason bear fruit...until then its just subjective opinion on everyones part
FACTUALLY.....The team has top ten winning percentage in the NFL the last 4 years..they sell out every home game..they are in the top 5 national viewership..Just signed a new lease with the county without too much fuss. And they kept generational talent by spending a zillion bucks on burrow..chase , higgins.
Even with a boatload of serious injuries to key players the past two years..team was highly competitive
The FO is doing much correctly as evidenced by results
We can agree to disaggree..makes our country great
Have a great afternoon..golf is awaiting

We will see. Highly competitive doesn't cut it for most of us anymore though, it does for you, cool.
I actually get to go golfing next week which should be fun. I don't get to go often. You have a great afternoon as well.

We all want Trey happy, but only Trey knows what will make him happy. As I have said, I hope both sides make conscessions and get it done sooner than later. But, I am not sure if they are close enough on the numbers to make it happen.
If no Trey for 2 to 10 games, the question becomes can we do enough to stay in the race for the playoffs while he sits. I think the worst case scenario is he sits out 10 games as if more thn 10 no year counted towards his years of service. If we could survive, we would gain a boatlaod of cap money back.My guess about 10 million due to lost game checks and fines of which according the CBA can't be waived.

I cannot help to think Trey has been listening to his agent at the same time the FO has some language in the offers provided that has messed
this all up. I sure hope Trey doesn't sit out, that would suck for everyone and most probably for him. We would have to get Shemar in and add
another End after cuts.
Trey's agent gets the most blame to me. I like to blame the agents lol

Chase Brown and brought back Perrine with other RB's on the team. RB's are going to have to be cut. If cutting Moss add salary cap to help add defense, great.
In answer to the person saying Bengals have been great. No, they haven't. One of worst defenses in NFL last 2 seasons. Not in play-offs last 2 seasons is greatly tied to having a lousy defense.
So if thy can cut an odd man out like Moss and add defense, great, and they still have Chase Brown, Perrine and many other RB's.
Bengals will have to cut some of these RB's. If cutting Moss adds cap space for defense, this defense could use the help.

Please share the defensive guy available we absolutely need right now. As for the RB room, injuries happen so why would we give a player more guaranteed money only to cut him in 2025 prior to TC?
My argument is we have cap space right now, so adding more cap space (1.2 million) won't change a lot.

Count me as one of those old-timers. And my wife was one of those who didn't make it -- 44 years of marriage until she passed without warning this past February.
I'm a Reds fan as well (since 1964 for the Reds) and in the quiet hours of the night or day their 1975-76 and 1990 teams still bring a big smile to my face. Those championships always made being a Reds fan so enjoyable. I can look back with delight at the games the Bengals won to get to the Super Bowl, but then there was no closure -- just a memory of pain by the three close losses.
Just one Super Bowl win. That's all I ask. I'll be happy with that.

Yep. Fred had some talent. That dude is a waste of time.
