Trey Hendrickson Update
(9 hours ago)TheLeonardLeap Wrote: I can't see Jerry Jones' ego (or love of making money) ever letting him tank a season. He'd be much more likely to make a 49ers-Trey Lance type trade because he'd see it as buying success which is what he wants to do as a businessman.

Since 1968 (Bengals first year) the Cowboys have had a top-5 pick only 7 times... and they only earned it 3 times. The other 4 of those 7 they traded up from out of the top-5 to get it.

Its a far out idea/prediction but if Jerry thinks he can get the next big thing in sports (in Archie) then a tanking job might  be enticing to him.

Jessie Bates left the Bengals and that makes me sad!

However; I don't believe he will enter the draft in 2026. He has not been a full season starter and has three years of eligibility remaining.

Mannings tend to use their entire eligibility.

I think he will declare in 2027 at the earliest.

True enough, but that was also 25+ years ago when everyone stayed longer  Things were different then.  We'll see.

If he stays 3 more years, Texas fans are in for a treat.

Dallas doesn't have to give Parsons a new contract after his 3rd year or 4th year or 5th year.  Its tiring hearing these multi-millionaires athletes complaining about their team not giving them a new contract and another big signing bonus when they still haven't fulfilled their current contract.  If Parsons doesnt get a new contract this year, he will get one next year from somebody so why cry to the media about it and pout about not wanting to play?  Man up, play out your contract and get another one next year.  If he has a great season, he will get paid even more next year anyways.

Arguing, no one. Go read page 95. Some hypothetical talks in there.

If this was the NBA, sure. It’s not. It’s the NFL, and this is the reality.
