Bengals Front Office Needs To Get With It.

The team made some definitive changes in the offseason and if they stay healthy there is no reason why the cant go on a superbowl run this year

To Tecmo, I say the window for Super Bowls with this offense is wide open for rest of this decade of the 20's.

To Erici, I say the facts show this was one of the worst defenses in NFL the last 2 seasons. Not having Hendrickson or the #1 draft pick in camp are signs the defense will STINK again in 2025.   This will cause Bengals again to miss play-offs. It's a total waste of this offense that could go Super Bowl, to field a defense so bad they are giving up points faster than the offense can score. You Erici, seem to take great pride in this team missing the play-offs the last 2 years.  I tell you without a defense they will miss the play-offs this season also, regardless of the change in defensive coaches.  A defense that has been really bad, will not get better by losing Hendrickson and not getting in their top draft pick.  This team has did little to improve this awful defense, and I'm afraid NFL teams will again score at will on Bengals, the defense giving up more points than the offense can score.

So the window for Super Bowls in the 20's is there with the offense, but not with the defense, and Mike Brown not being able to get Hendrickson or the top draft pick in here only makes the defense situation worse. The sad thing is, long suffering fans of the Bengals deserve a Dynasty run after all the losing decades. Burrow, Chase, Higgins of the Super Bowl and next year AFC Championship, could bounce back from two seasons of no play-offs, and make Super Bowl runs from 2025 to 2030, but not without huge improvement on defense.  Not only do I not see Mike Brown trying to build a Super Bowl Defense, I see Mike Brown trying to put the cheapest defense he can on the field. I'm afraid that Mike Brown feels Burrow to Chase will sell tickets, and as long as Mike Brown makes money, he really doesn't care if the Fans ever have a winnig team.

The Eagles have offense, but they invested in defense as well to win the Super. Bowl.  That is what Bengals owners must do also. Without defense the Bengals don't have a chance to make play-offs, it's that simple.

I think the saddest discovery as of late is that it appears MB is still 100% in charge and running this team.

In order to fully understand the Mike Brown era Bengals, one must step back and take a look at the bigger picture of his time in the leadership role.  Looking at just the past 4 years is like judging a serial killer by the snapshot of the moment they carried the groceries for his grandmother..

Been saying it all along and people poo-poo'd me for it.

Mike Brown is still in charge whenever he wants to be in charge. He lets other people handle more day-to-day stuff now, but when it comes time to make a decision and he wants to make that decision, he will always have the final say. Won't change until he dies.

Wait...you weren't expecting him to say something factually correct, were you?   Cool

The majority of the most memorable plays of that playoff run were made by the defense.

Jessie Bates left the Bengals and that makes me sad!
