They've been paying for superstar talent for a while now... the argument is now over petty things like not signing your 1st round pick, making a splash free-agent signing, trading for a player mid-season. Giving a bit more guaranteed money to get land a player of need instead of value players.
It's the little things that they don't do that good organizations pay for.

I kind of agree with Shemar it does feel like the family wants to win arguments/contracts more so than games. Not that Shemar was the right person to speak on that.
Thats plain ridiculous..year in year out..at this time of the year most NFL teams have issues and discussions regarding signings and contracts..The Brown Family has not gotten into a daily public debate regarding contract situations unlike many other franchises and to suggest they dont want to win games but public debate over stewart and hendickson is non sensical..My god man the past two years they have shelled out a zillion bucks to keep burrow..chase and higgins have you cinveniently forgotten that...I may be wrong..but I am thinking this stewart thing gets resolved soon...As far as hendrickson and from what we can glean..apparently most NF L teams did not feel he was worth the asking price...have a great day

What many overlook is that the Brown family's business model is how they generate income; they must approach it more like a business than other billionaires who pursue it as a hobby/passion. They cannot continue to maximize their profits and incur incredible debt that others can. We have by far the poorest ownership group in the NFL.
Sure, I'd love to have an All-Star front line, but in the last few years, they have invested plenty in the o-line. I feel we've upgraded from last year.

And those little things at this time of the year exist for many teams..If these issues continue past the start of summer camp...at that time it may be worthy if discussion...as far as FA..very rarely do teams make a splash..more often than not those Splashy players with the noteable names are entering the tail end of their careers and turn out to be meh..have faith and a good day

You mean an ownership that has the 8th best winning percentage in the NFL the past four years...the same ownership that sells out every home game..the same ownership that has a team jn the top 5 in national viewership..and the same ownership that has a team with burrow chase higgins and a great bunch of younger players with a superbowl window the next 6-8 years..This is not the cleveland, tennessee, jacksonville, etc message Board

1000%..and some rather noteable coaching changes..plus our starting LT will be back and Mims will have a year under his belt..Every teams business model ...is the generation of income..this is not a Brown Family thing

Bullshit. But you'll never debate it because you don't have the balls or brains, so you just put people on ignore and keep on trollin'.

I think that the issue you are encountering is that he may be more of an optimistic, casual fan, rather than a die hard who studies the team like most of JN.

He's a contrarian who lies, gets called out on lies, then lies some more after knowing the truth and repeatedly posts the same thing over and over again without ever giving any kind of actual, logical and/or sensible football takes.
And he's a hypocrite of the highest magnitude.
But...it's not my job to decide who stays and goes and why, so as they say in Morocco, "c'est la vie". :)
EDIT: After some ponderation, sorry if this comes across as a critique of modding. That's not my intention in the least. It's a "me thing".
