Domed Stadium

I personally think there are plenty of passionate, knowledgeable, invested football fans who either A) don't care about physically going to games in-person because TV broadcasts get much better views depending on how far away one would have to sit at the stadium and cost of tickets, and/or B) would be more willing to go see games in-person if the weather is nicer vs when it's not.

At the end of the day though, the poll shows a pretty even split of for and against a covered/indoor stadium.
I have to think this percentage would be different 10, 20, 30 years ago because the fans and technology are changing.
Now it's more about instant gratification, convenience, comfort, and efficiency rather than "toughing it out" or "doing it the hard way."

While some prefer to just be at the stadium in whatever conditions, that percentage of people seems to be dwindling as the years/decades go by.
If/when the stadium starts becoming less populated, orgs will have to start trying to adjust accommodations to people to draw more back in.
It's inevitable.

i stated before NFL attendance does not seem to be suffering in open air stadiums, weather is getting better in 21c during football season and majority of games are actually played in summer/fall not winter. Too me the debate on doom is not weather for games but is the cost worth what else you might be able to bring in and im not sure it is..

Real football fans dont care where their team plays..and a poll on this Board is a very small and insignificant sample size..in fact they did two surveys jn buffalo befire finalizing plans on a new stadium and 75-80% wanted an out door stadium...if our team for some reason had to play at Moeller Highschool foitball field..I would be fine with that..Bengals sell out every home game..its not about technology etc..its about winning and being competitive ..and finally..we have gone every home game the past twenty years..the weather..for the most part....through mid december is delightful...nobody has to tough out anything..Even the few cold snow days are fun....regardless the deal is done..team is staying and playing at Paycor

Again, that is NOT the point of the OP's thread.
It's about IF there was ever a situation that the team could be considering a domed stadium, what is OUR (this message board members' preference).
It is NOT about caring what the general population of Hamilton County wants or thinks.
It's NOT about what has already come for Paycor this year.

If your stance is "Who cares? The team is staying and playing at Paycor," then why keep posting in the thread?
