It's next season and I'm hopeful

Absolutely! Lap played every position on the O-line, and Parrish, heck, QB's wouldn't even throw at him.

Congrats - Parrish is a no brainer.

For arguments sake I think Montoya should have gotten in before Lap.
4 time pro bowler and Lap had 0 I think. He is the voice of the Bengals otherwise I think others (deservedly) get in before him.

I also think they may need to just do it every other year to not water it down so much. Hate to be negative but Lap was not a ROH level player - if you remove his popularity of being the voice of the Bengals I don’t think he makes it. Just my opinion go ahead and disagree.
Not much else to talk about until one of the Edges (hopefully) signs;

Mr. Bengal and the best defensive back in Bengals history (all respect to Ken Riley).

That'll work.

I am in total agreement.  Lapham is seemingly a great guy and bleeds Bengal orange & black.  But Max Montoya is the best guard in franchise history and it's not even a question.  I also concur that they need to put the brakes on inductions.  One a year, please.

There is no doubt Montoya was a better Guard and deserves to be in, and probably will go in next class. But Montoya played Guard. Lapham played all five positions on the line. Kind of like having a really good screwdriver or a multi-tool. If you're turning a screw, you want the screwdriver. If something else happens, you might want that multi-tool to fix the situation.
As for the rest..... just sheese. Years and years of people complaining about no Ring of Honor, now we're inducting too many people. Going back to 1968, if we drop to 1 a year, there are some great players who will never see the Ring.

Probably a top 5 Bengal moment and it was Lap's idea.
