The easy power Stewart generates from his lower half and hips is awesome. That play might have been a wash with Jalen Rivens stalling thr power rush in the end but the QB would have had to step up into the pocket possibly throwing off rhe play timing or into a other rush.

Ryan Rehkow was such a delight last year. i guess the Chiefs were enamored of Matt Araiza's nickname of "The Punt God," and let the better punter go. Kudos for the Bengals grabbing him.

Mims dealing with chronic thumb injury. Likely to need surgery. Same injury that gave him issues last season. Not sure why he didn’t just get surgery after the season but though to be tough for him to play through.

Oh, boy. But there's time to get a quality backup, who can also start, and the Bengals have the cap space. Need to analyze this now and if it's tough for Mims to play through, the Bengals need to get active via free agency or trade.

Mims play has been fine but he’s been hurt every year he’s played and has neve, ever played a full season. It was the main reason I was so against the pick

This organization took in $700+ million in revenue, most likely. Has a yearly payroll of nearly $300 million. Why not pay a sports psychologist $100k and a social worker $50k snd have them just do routine wellness checks on players and their families? Especially injured ones.

It is a drop in the bucket, money wise. And might actually, you know, help the players emotionally & psychologically, which should yield better performance.

At worst, it will make them feel like their employer cares about them as people (at least a bit) instead of just being hunks of meat. Again, you'll get happier players and better performance. It might even yield a hometown discount in a contract negotiation once it a while. If it happence once it pays for itself for nearly a decade.
Yes, nothing makes an employee happier than having their employer sending a shrink to your house... Hilarious

I'm with you.  Why in the world didn't he take care of this in the off season?  Lets wait until the season is ready to start to have surgery on the thumb.  Great idea.

He missed multiple reps today

The report was that he broke his hand last year. But if the problem was non healed fracture which is fairly common with thumb fractures they would have gone in and pinned it months ago. That is a pretty minor procedure.

So it souns like he may have a torn ligament that they hoped time would heal with time. Recovery from ligament repair surgery can run from 5-6 weeks up to 12 or more depending on severity

I try to never get to hyped over the TC hype, but listening to Burrow at PC today praise Yoshi and the WR room gives me hope. I am glad Trey is in camp, now they need to get him signed. JB was glad he is here. It was good to see Trey helping Stewart and others.

We need a RB to add in coming days to replace Moss at camp at a minimum. I still holdout hope we are looking at Hernandez or Risner. If not, maybe an OL cut at end of preseason. But we have a new OL coach, so if he is not in panic mode, maybe we should not be in panic mode.

I have concerns with interior OL and safety, but I think we have a shot at being very good with our current roster and if we have injuries early in the year, we have cap space to add more than just a replacement body.

I really like to hear what Burrow had to say about our young DB's and how the Dline was stunting and performing well. It sounds like Battle, Newton and Anthony have come to play this year, and if Turner doesn't step it up he's not even going to see the field.

There are 6 RBs on the roster including 2 who were on last year's PS.  I don't think they will be in hurry to replace Moss just for TC

With Brown, Perine and Brooks, I just do not see them adding any other RB's. They'll pick the 4th RB from what is here, and who it is will be dependent on Special Teams abilities. I think the RB room is set.

I would think Kendall Milton is the leader in the clubhouse for. rb4. He was first off the PS last season multiple times and he’s still young

Lucas Patrick and MIke Lee have both returned to practice.  Lee hasn't practiced since day 1
Marco Wilson is the only player still out due to injury.  On Monday, Zac said he was week to week

edit: Mims not practicing and his time is being "managed" per Zac. His right hand is wrapped

As anyone who is in Cincinnati can guess, they are inside today due to thunderstorms

Jermain Burton is now growing his route portfoliio.  No longer just a straight route runner

Good to see Patrick back, Peters needs to be able to evaluate if he is starter worthy

I feel pretty good that this Trey deal is close based on his attitude.
