If for no other reason, he needs to be extended for being a professional. Heck, Stewart may be his replacement in a few years and he is training the guy
Loving Trey right now..get off your ass FO and extend him

Literally no one said that. It’s good to see him having a strong day after a string of rough ones though.

For most of last year, we only carried 3 RBs. RB4 is likely on the PS. Though not surely.
I just think TE5 (Grandy/Hudson/McLachlan), WR6 (Williams), OL10 (Kirkland, Cochran, Lee/McLaughlin), DE6 (C. Johnson), DT5 (Bryan), LB6 (Heyward, Njongmeta, Giles-Harris), or CB6 (Wilson/Davis) all are ahead of our RB4 guys ,(Milton/Brightwell) as contributors.
I generally like 4 RBs on the roster, but I think eith cutting Moss, snd Zach's aversion to FBs, that it is probably 3. Milton or Brightwell are really gonna have to kick ass in camp.

Double good defensive play. Media says the DBS are dominating the day. DJ Turner is killing it...its almost like he has been reading the reports of his lack of play so far

Is it just me or do these practices seem way more intense than years past? Way more enthusiasim, chatter, competetion between the defense and offense.

The difference in this team succeeding or failing this year is how good our defense can be and it is at least promising that the guys we need to step up on that side have been so far in camp it seems.

I was getting ready to say, he must have read the same article I did this morning that said the way the other DB's were playing, his on-field time was in jeopardy.

Burrow said in his latest interview the defense had a different vibe to it this year. I think Al Golden may be just what we needed.

It does look like they are making it a point to raise intensity and urgency....which is a great thing to hopefully stop our early season woes

I was listening to Rapien and Liscow and they commented that the defense is lively, talking, and hyping each other up after plays. They seem way more high energy than year's past. The interesting part is that Rapien said defensive players have communicated to the media how, in Golden's defense, they feel they better understand their individuals roles. I hope all of this can lead to guys like CTB, Hill, Turner, Ossai, etc. vastly improving on the field.

Nice play and all, but FFS be careful diving around Chase’s legs.

Impressive by Knight and DJ. Starting to see why Golden and Hodges wanted Knight so bad.
I think it is only a matter of time before DJ Turner becomes a stud. His speed and fluid hips are elite, these are the qualities that cannot be taught
at Corner.

You know, I think I'm picking up a subtle innuendo here. (btw, did you know if you move the fingers of your right hand to the left 1 letter, instead of typing the shortcut for the ninja emjoi, you type LbubbaL instead?)

I thought Turner and Hill both played fairly well last year. And were playing some of their best ball before they got hurt. CTB was certainly up and down, but he ended up grading outcabout where he always does. All 3 seem to be a bit better in man than zone, and Golden should help there. CTB ain't Chido.
I thought our pass rush got a lot better once Hubbard was benched for Ossai. He ended with 6 sacks (IIRC) and eould have likely pushed 10 if he'd have more snaps earlier on. Got better vs the run, too.
I think the curve was already going up on Turner, Hill, and Ossai. Jackson & Jenkins, too.
Hubbard, Stone, Battle, and Rankins were the real issues last year. Along with notcreplacing Reader and all the injuries (Logan, D. Hill, Turner, Rankins, Jackson, Jenkins).
Al should help. Better health should help. New faces should help. But continued improvement from the guys we have is gonna be key. And they don't have to be great.

Lest we all forget that Anarumo was Zac's 6th choice for DC. It's nice to see him not only get his first choice this time around, but it looks like it is ALREADY paying dividends

Good to see Trey coaching up Shemar. Shows how big Shemar is.
Don't like hearing about Mims and the thumb injury. Damn, that was my only concern when drafting him.
