Trey has been very respectful for most of the process. He came to the minicamp and was a bit harsh but said he regretted what he said. Stewart was a little more blunt with his words. Yes one has led the league in sacks 2 years in a row and one hasn't taken a snap. There is a difference between the two that is obvious.

All the guys on Good Morning Football said he should just shut up when he made his initial comments and I agreed with them.

So not my closest friends, just guys that talk football. I don't know why you defend the rookie who has done nothing in the NFL and hate on Trey 
who has led the league in sacks for the Bengals the last few years. I am happy Stewart is signed and I am one of the few Bengals fans on here

Only 1 player from the entire 2025 draft class remains unsigned and that is Quinshon Judkins. The reason he is unsigned is because he was arrested for domestic violence and will be facing legal issues.

Factuallly, Shemur Stewart said very little this process..you are making stuff up..and stewart has the right to be concerned about his financial future

You are incorrect about Hendrickson and you might want to listen to his interviews from florida..hes become bitter and as you proclaimed no olayer should do....he trashed bengals managemnt

Again..read carefully..hendrickson is a good player..If it was me, and I think the bengals have the money, I would give him a raise and a two year guaranteed contract

And they weren't arguing about the amount of the contract just the % of guaranteed because 1 team decided to fully guarantee a 2nd round contract. 


This is the first incident of any note about rookie contracts since they changed this section of the CBA in 2012 and it wasn't a big deal at all just domino's that needed to fall.

I dont think any of this is a big deal..negotiations, player holdouts , issues with contractual lsnguage have been going on for decades in the NFL..stewart is here..hopefylly hendickson will be also..if not we will all survive...Its just a dead time of the year with no real football to talk about...have a great day..gotta run GO REDS

So basically Stewart didn't feel it was fair to put a clause on him when he felt he didn't do anything to deserve the clause, even if that clause was being put (unfairly?) on other new draft picks coming into the league by other teams.

What was probably a bit over the line (in some folks' eyes) is the specific statement to Bengals FO about how they want to win arguments instead of winning more games.
Stewart comes off as pretty blunt and willing to share his feelings, even though many players are coached to not do that.


In the case of Stewart, it can be seen by many as entitled, as he's not proven anything in the NFL, so just don't talk to the media at all about things like this.

Man...i keep telling you guys. He's playing right out of the troll 101 handbook. 

1. He ignores people that are on to him (check) Real people will fight you to the teeth to "defend their honor". Post after post, page after page. Trolls ignore and move on to others that still engage them seriously. 
2. He says outlandishly stupid stuff that is easily disproven, ignores it and posts it again. (check) Real people eventually stop posting misinformation once they're shown proof or...my next point. 
3. He gets proven wrong, beyond the shadow of a doubt and says he didn't say that, or changes his "meaning" and continues the troll. (check) It doesn't matter what you say to him, he keeps saying wrong shit and changing the story.
4. He says just enough to make it look like he's not trolling. (check) Brian P, Doc, Tia (same person) would always add just enough to possibly seem plausible or put in just enough 'football talk' to make it look like he wasn't trolling. 

But let's be real. I could be 100% wrong and he could just be some old weird dude that thinks he's right about everything and has answers to the worlds problems. He told me before we could meet for lunch and compare degrees. He doesn't even need to do that. If he plays golf at Hyde Park Country Club, he's only a couple miles from where i work. He's more than welcome to stop in, ask for Rick, say Hey, my names Eric and we can shake hands, have a laugh and i'll come on here and say i was 100% wrong and he's a real Bengals fan, here to talk Bengals football. 

Hell, i'll even throw in some free copies of his house key for his troubles.
