End of the "Dalton Scale"?

You're right....let's just get back to comparing Dalton's best to Palmer/Esiason/Anderson's worst and call it a day! Ninja

I don't understand the disrespect Tannihill is getting.

His main targets last year were Jarvis Landry, Mike Wallace and Charles Clay. Not a bad cast, but far from stellar. Certainly AJ Green, Sanu and Gresham would be close to those 3.

2014 4000+ yards, 27 TDs and 12 INTs - Threw to Jarvis Landry, Mike Wallace and Charles Clay.
2013 3900+ yards, 24 TDs and 17 INTs - No Landry. Wallace was signed as a FA.
2012 3,294 yards, 12 TDs and 13 INTs - Brian Hartline was his #1 WR, sad but true. Talk about a lack of weapons.

Those are pretty numbers for a QB for a new QB coming into the league. This year he'll have Landry, Wallace and DeVante Parker.

Well, its a comparison of their most recent seasons.  It's not like someone sent out of their way to highlight a career high vs a career low.  And fwiw Tannenhill posted a Qb rating last season that was higher than even Daltons career high.

]For a project Q b, playing with who he has, the kid has had a nice start to his career.  That, he still is probably average at best among his starting peers.

You act like Dalton has had good weapons his whole career. I guess you think Simpson, Binns, Cladwell, Little, and Sanu are all quality WRs. Green is a great WR, and Jones is good when he's healthy, but I always laugh when people try and act like Dalton has had a talented offense around him. That's not even counting the Dolphins having a much better run game then us (all but last year).

Wait, you are trolling right?

How in the blue hell would you consider a guy that only played in 7 passing snaps to be the #1 receiver? For the record, Sanu, Tate, and Hamilton were his actual receivers in the playoff game. Hardly anything special there, but let's not just flat out lie and say that Burkhead was the #1.

He means statistically.

In that game, Bernard, at RB, had the most yards with 46 yards on 8 receptions. Then Hewitt had 37 yards on 3 receptions.

Then, his first player that played receiver in that game, Burkhead, who was playing out of the slot due to the massive number of injuries we incurred, had 34 yards on 3 receptions.

After that, Sanu had 31 yards on 3 receptions and Brock got 7 yards on 1 reception.

Tate and Hamilton each had 0 catches for 0 yards.
